«The receptionist was very nice, so I have no complaints about the customer service. However, I don't think the hotel looks like the pictures, so we were all quite disappointed when we arrived. We found hair in the bed sheets and the carpet was full of stains. It was dusty and gave the impression that it was an old hotel that had not been maintained properly. Lots of room to hang garments, walking distance to great hotel bar/dining, walking distance to fuel station with everything else you might need. Nice large deck area to hang outside. 5 minute drive to Fernie alpine resort. Arguably one of the most cost effective places to stay and play within Fernie. »
