Fint helgeopphold
Bra beliggenhet dersom du kommer med flybussen og kort avstand til togstasjon. Ca 10 min gange til sentrum. Rommet er helt fint med god seng. Litt trangt sammenlignet med hva det ofte er på Hilton. Resepsjonen fremstår litt datert, men personell veldig hyggelig

Firstly the hotel itself is very clean, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.Unfortunately I didn’t have a very good sleep on both nights I stayed at the hotel ,as the walls are very thin and I was woken both nights with people coimg back from nights out.I appreciate that the hotel can’t control what time time people come back or how much noise they make,but would suggest that some sort of installation be put in,as this was the thing that ruined the experience of staying here.Other than that,I would’ve easily given a 4,but with no sleep I can’t recommend to stay here.

Staff were friendly and helpful, our room was very hot despite the air conditioning and the staff quickly made some adjustments. Bathroom tub was chipped and the water would suddenly run hot or cold but this was manageable.

Great stay
I had a great stay at Doubletree Bristol. Perfect location only 5 minute walk from Temple Meads and the bus stop to go to the airport is literally outside the hotel entrance. I really enjoyed the service in the bar and the food was absolutely delicious. The only negative was my room on the top floor could be an interconnecting room so I didnt feel very safe on my own and when the neighbours came back at 1am I could hear them as if they were in my room! If someone mentions at reception, like I did, that they have to get up very early for a flight, it might be worth giving a quieter room :)

Cookie welcome
Reception desk at first did not think they could book us in early but with prompting found a room. And the welcome cookies were a, literal, warm welcome The hotel is well designed and kept and most convenient for rail travellers, but also for pick up by family in our beyond the city. Moreover it stands adjacent to the most beautiful parish church in Britain.!

When I saw my work event was being hosted at a Hilton, I had certain expectations of a nice, clean, modern hotel. However, this particular Hilton did not meet those expectations. The main issues were trays from other people's room service being left out in the corridor for extended periods of time, which just looked messy, spelling mistakes on posters (e.g. in the lift regarding the restaurant), and being bothered by staff early morning. On the latter point, this happened twice - the first time was due to reception not linking two bookings properly (despite telling me it was fine) and confused cleaning staff arriving to change over the room (made more difficult by the limited English skills of the cleaners), and the second time, it was 08:15 on the day of checkout (the checkout time is 12 noon) and a woman was going round knocking on doors to check occupancy. I really didn't appreciate an early morning wakeup for no good reason when I was having a rare lie in. Overall, it's fine but nothing to write home about.

Great hotel for exploring the city
Great staff, really friendly & couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely breakfast with excellent choice. Brilliant location for getting around Bristol. We met friends there and my only negative is that the bar area is cold & the furnishing doesn't help as it is drab. Twice we headed for the bar & left after 1 drink & went elsewhere as it was so chilly in there.

We ended up at the DoubleTree due to a right fiasco at the Bristol Mercure around the corner. As it's a Hilton hotel, we were expecting great things. However, it was nothing more than an expensive Premier Inn. The room was virtually identical to a Premier Inn. My wife went for a shower and there was no hot water - neither in the shower nor the bathroom sink. We spoke with reception and they moved us to the room next door and as a gesture of good will, cancelled our parking fees. The shower wasn't to our taste - we don't like rainfall showers. There was a normal shower head on a flexi-hose, but only a fixed fitting that aimed the water just above your bellybutton. On a positive note, the all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Overall, a remarkably average hotel at a premium price...

Hotel was well located for Bristol city centre and had good amenities. The breakfast was delicious and good value for money. The parking is a little expensive and it would be nice if they offered a discount for guests. Would stay here again
