Billa Bush Cottage - Point Lookout, QLD

  • Billa Bush Cottage er et nyoppusset (nov. 2018) øya hjem som har beholdt den vakre sjarmen og originale kvaliteter, men har blitt trukket inn i den moderne verden med et vakkert moderne 'våtroms' bad og nydelig kjøkken.

    Hjemmet har polerte tregulvgulv og et stort, åpent kjøkken med mikrobølgeovn, gasskomfyr og Nespresso kaffemaskin (ta med egne pods). Dekket med gass BBQ og spisestue har utsikt over det innfødte buskmarken. Det er også en Bluetooth Mini-høyttaler for å lytte til favorittmelodiene dine.

    Soverommene (begge King size-senger) har klimaanlegg, men når de skjermede vinduene er åpne, begynner brisen å strømme gjennom hjemmet.

    Billa Street er kjent for sin nærhet til hjertet av Point Lookout og innen gangavstand til alle butikker og strender.

    Vær oppmerksom på at dette er en hytte uten skjerm, men er en veldig enkel spasertur til Straddie Pub for å se på spesielle begivenheter på storskjerm.

    Sengetøy Leveres for bestillinger gjort etter 1/12/18, NB. Sengene er ikke laget, og det kan være at sengetøy må returneres til vårt kontor når du returnerer nøkler.

We had an incredible stay.The house is beautifully set among Straddie’s stunning bushland and wildlife, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The management team was fantastic—professional, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. Everything about our experience was seamless, from the home itself to the outstanding service. Straddie never disappoints, and this trip was no exception. We highly recommend the property.

Lovely spot

A lovely house - open, bright and breezy. Managed to cook for 8 people comfortably. On issue was the oven not working. Overall, a great place.

However in the middle of June when we were there it was very cold and unpleasant. The sun does not get down in the ravine where it is situated at all. It is almost colder in the house than outside. Not enough blankets to be warm at night.

I was even more impressed with the property in person vs the photos. A short walk to cylinder beach and the local pub for a drink (and they have a bottle shop too). Lots of basic items provided like salt and pepper.Something to consider if taking little kids is that the curtains are completely sheer.

Beautiful renovated beach house close to Cylinder Beach

Property was well maintained and beautifully renovated. Good supply of games and books. Close to Cylinder beach, but a fair walk to Point Lookout restaurants. Remember to bring shampoo and a hairdryer.

Poor advice re pantry.. we’re told no salt & pepper ,cleaning dishwasher stuff etc. sorry , better pantry than st my home. I suspect this a generic setup but needs to be updated for each rental as we filled a box with totally superfluous stuff that was already there. I realise this is more work for you but real basics like s & p sugar washing up stuff should be mandatory for owners. A few minor problems that we sorted due to non information but looking about sorted them. Loved arriving on s hot & sticky day to find aircon & fans going. Nice touch.

Beautiful house

Beautiful house to stay in. Short walk to the beach and bus stops which then take you into the main townships. Would recommend an island pass if staying for more than 5 days. Was all very clean and had everything you would need for a week or more stay. At the end of a very quiet street and surround by trees. Would definitely visit again. Thank you!
