Hi Anjali, We're so sorry to hear about your negative experience with us. As the building next door was burning down, we were forced to close as it, of course, would be very unsafe for guests. As you booked with Expedia, you would not have been charged for your booking as it is paid upon arrival. Nevertheless, we're sorry to hear you had such a bad experience, but it was a situation that was out of our hands.

We have just been approved a budget to have renovations made throughout the building and aim to address the TLC that this lovely building deserves. Hope to see you again.

Dear Gareth,Thank for taking the time to review usWe are pleased to hear you found the room was clean and bright.We are sorry to hear you found the curtains could have covered the windows more and the issues with the TV.As we are a youth hostel we try to charge for our rooms as low as possible prices, so that as many as possible people can afford to stay with us. Because of this we don't provide the extra's like towels, tea or coffee making facilities in our rooms. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.Regards,lukas
