«Cute tiny home that feels like a small motel room but not in a motel. Nice house like feeling inside, but could have benefited from a “spring cleaning”. Unfortunately, the wifi and tv connection didn’t work more than 5mins at a time during our stay. The location is near other older properties but we felt safe in the neighborhood and it was super quiet overnight. Close driving distance to downtown Hendersonville. »

«It was described as 1 bedroom but was a studio.No kitchen towels.No privacy.No blindsDirty ashtray on deck.Futon totally uncomfortable. No lake view.It was a nasty pond and couldn’t be seen by house. No welcome book or information about where places were or directions.Had to google everything. Totally disappointed with everything about this place.I’d hate to give VRBO a bad rating.Do you even check these places out? I think some kind of compensation should be given.»

«Mountain Shadows is a cozy cottage nestled in the forest amongst a few other cabins but with enough privacy to let you lay back and relax. The house was well-equipped, clean and the hot tub was a welcome diversion after a long day out. This is a place I would definitely recommend to anyone.»

«We have rented for many years. Homes, cabins, etc. This cottage was outstanding. We were perfectly happy with the stay. Very clean. Everything seemed to be new. Privacy fence around the entire backyard, which was great for us as well as the dog. Near enough to downtown but approx. 3/4 mile or more to walk. All level walking area, but the heat can take its toll. There is plenty of parking in town, so if walking is an issue I suggest the short drive. The owners of the cottage were available at all ...
