Just outside the town, Braunton Burrows provides a lovely backdrop for scenic seaside walks. Just a short drive away Saunton Sands boasts an expansive sandy beach, and further afield, sand, sea and surf can be enjoyed at Woolacombe, Croyde and Putsborough. Walking enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice with the nearby South West Coast Path, taking you across the spectacular headland to Baggy Point, and with Exmoor National Park within easy reach by car. Other places of interest nearby include Barnstaple, with market and high street shops, Hartland Abbey and the seaside resort of Ilfracombe.

Stepping into this charming cottage, the lounge offers a warm welcome with the inglenook fireplace with wood burner taking centre stage, it is the perfect complement to a chilly autumn evening watching a good movie on the Smart TV and enjoying a glass of wine. Continue through the cottage to the kitchen/diner, traditional in style and well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The dining area is the perfect spot for enjoying a hearty meal around the dining table which boasts a beautiful rustic settle. Across the hallway from the kitchen is a downstairs WC. At the end of the day climb the cottage stairs to the first floor where you will find a beautifully furnished double bedroom and a light and airy single room. Also, on this floor you will find the bathroom which consists of a shower over bath and WC.

From the dining kitchen, step through the bi-fold doors onto the enclosed patio area with bistro table and chairs, or take the stones steps to the raised patio with pergola and leafy grapevine. Perfect places to retreat with a favourite book or glass of wine on a summer evening.
