«Very clean cottage with a prefect view of Seneca Lake. The cottage is about 4 miles from Hobart and William Smith College. The only negative is the showers don’t have grab bars and the steps are tricky for those with mobility issues. There was one other oddity with the mirror over the bathroom sink. Many will need a step stool to be able to use it since it is very high up on the wall. Otherwise, perfect!»

«Nice quaint cottages in the countryside of Ovid, NY. Close to wineries. You will need to bring paper plates, bowls, etc. if you plan on eating at the cottage. Cottage was clean and host would quickly respond to any questions.»

The host was very responsive to all questions, the house was well stocked with towels, blankets, kitchen needs, etc. The following did not take away from our stay, but can hopefully help any future visitors. «There is NO house number on the building. The host did NOT provide us with info prior to arrival, we had to message him to get access. It appeared that check in was at 4:00, but turned out it was 3:00. The actual property appearance does NOT look like the pictures online. Outside is overgrown, dirty and cobweb’s everywhere. Inside smells musty and gross. Flies everywhere, spiders in the bathroom and shower. It was not clean under the bed. There’s no bathroom soaps or wash clothes and the towels ...
