«This place could not have been any nicer, frankly the pictures don’t do it justice. Hosts are super easy to work with and the checkin process couldn’t be easier. The accommodations are first class and the cabin literally has everything except for what they tell you to bring. Stayed here with my wife, our two girls, my wife’s parents, and her sister from CA. Everyone had their own space and bathroom, it was wonderful. »

«This was an excellent, extremely clean TOP NOTCH property! The hospitality was over the top and very welcoming and responsive to texts. «We had a very nice stay. The houses were well kept and updated. The owners communicated exceptionally with us about any questions we had prior to our stay. I am a first time VRBO user and found the process went very well. The kids enjoyed having the cornhole game to use so that was a great surprise Lots of room to play outside Hwy 169 was very busy and hard to get across to the lake but we did not go swimming anyway. Not sure how deep that area is? Would recommend this VRBO! »

«The Hillman House was amazing place for our multigenerational family reunion. Lots of space to connect, and room for everyone to eat together at the extended size kitchen table. Large number of private bedrooms to accommodate all is very unusual to find and beds were very comfortable with quality linens. Had lots of fun in the indoor gym playing pickleball and other games. The paddleboards were great for on the lake and there was a nice sandy beach area for the little kiddos to play. Can't ...

«We loved the old house and all the period furnishings. Mostly we loved that it could fit all of us in one place. A short walk to the nice little beach was great. A short drive to Walker or to Brainerd to explore. We had a wonderful time being together, sitting around a campfire, grilling, and playing in the yard.»

«Everything was just as described. And more than enough to keep you entertained, games, ping pong, darts. Kitchen was amazing and well equipped, (so much so we came home an ordered the same toaster, so cool). Beds were very comfortable. It was very relaxing just enjoying the lake and wildlife from the deck. Mike was very responsive for our inquiries. Lake toys were used by everyone in the family. Nice restaurant and grocery store in the town of Garrison also.»

«Gorgeous property and landscaping with beautiful flora and a lot of green space for yard activities. Patio area was great with its lounging furniture, gas fire pit and cooking area (grill, griddle, fridge). Home decor very nice, and can sleep a good number of guests (we wish there had been more plates and bowls to accommodate same). Exceptional, large beach for kids - all sand, no weeds, shallow well beyond the end of the long dock - and we made fun use of the available kayaks, paddle boards, ...

«Stayed here for 4 nights with spouse and 3 family members. Nice clean cute cabin. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Fishing was productive and the lake is very clean. The only drawback was being so close to BIR and the loudness during the races or practice or whatever they were doing. But since we were on the water or exploring the area we didn't hear too much of it. But in spite of that we totally enjoyed it!»
