Waterslide & Pool ** Wimpy’s Whereabouts!**

This cute cozy 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom duplex is completely remodeled. The bedrooms both have king size beds. There is an air mattress available in the unit. The maximum occupancy is 8 people (6 adults & 2 children) . There is a BEAUTIFUL community pool with waterslide for all ages! It comes with your stay at this property. You must sign a pool liability waiver if you stay with us that relieves the homeowner of any responsibility of injuries or death that could occur on the property. If the waiver is not completed before the allotted timeframe, the owner is able to cancel your reservation with zero refund and the reservation will be terminated. Please be respectful of all other renting guests, as this is a community pool. Pool hours are from 8AM-10PM. If a noise violation occurs after 10PM renter may be subject to a county police violation fee. There is a private grill and private pool access to this property. There are 2 parking spaces for this unit. Pets are welcome there is a $100 fee per pet- if the renter does not disclose pets that are coming 24 hrs before check-in, they are subject to $250 per pet fee.

Essentials are provided: Sheets for all beds, bathroom towels, pool/beach towels, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 pool of paper towels, 2 dishwasher tablets, 2 laundry tablets, liquid dish soap, and 1 hand soap per bathroom.

We had a nice time at this place. Pros: pool was nice and warm, slide was fun, lots of space in the house, nice towels, essentials like sunscreen/lotions/shampoo/conditioner, beds were niceCons: hot tub was filthy, damage around the house (holes in wall, lots of cosmetic issues, black shoe prints and hand prints on wall, window in middle of house that’s about to fall out, a spigot (?!) in the hall sticking out of the wall), things half painted, just a lot of dirt and very easy fixes that look like they’ve been ignored for a hot minute, the Wi-Fi was bad, neighborhood is not the nicest and a little sketchy. It just looked like there was very very little attention to detail. Personally, this is important. I took tons of pictures of the damage and the owner was aware and ensured us we wouldn’t be charged. The pool area is shared by 4 other condos/vrbos but we got lucky as there was no one there for the last few days. Overall, this place was just fine. I think for the price I would have liked a higher standard of cleanliness. 3.1 stars!

A beautiful place to stay while we explored the area. The heated pool and area around it are resort like and spotless. The yard was perfect for our dog. The bedrooms are nice sized and overall, the home would sleep 4 adults. Six, if you used the couch bed in the living room/kitchen area. Being a duplex, our first night there were other guests and we could hear them talking as if they were in our home. The rest of the stay was quiet and wonderful. A half hour drive to Anna Maria Island and gorgeous beaches and eateries. So glad we chose this home for our first time in Bradenton. Casey was a great host and just a text away.

Hidden gem that was great!

Cozy, nice, & just as described. Great communication. Will definitely be back on future trips! The outside courtyard area was great with wonderful amenities. Would be perfect for families with littles. Grocery, beach, & restaurants were all within close driving distances. Highly recommend! If you are someone that doesn’t like to share your pool area with others, take lots of friends with you or go to another spot. I will admit, I missed that part. It was fine but I it may not be for everyone.

Already have a return setup!

great pool area, could not have a better stay if you have younger children, all necessary convienances are very close yet at the home the property is super quiet and private. I couldn't think of a better place to send my daughter and granddaughter to! Casey was super responsive and even tolerated my lack of tech skills! Thank you Casey

Short family getaway

This was a short getaway, was about 10 to 15 minutes from the island, which was super convenient. The owners were super responsive, friendly and we would absolutely stay here again. The backyard space was absolutely amazing.

Great family vacation!

My family had a blast at this property. I have 3 boys under 8 who loved the pool and putt putt area. This property and the surrounding ones would be perfect for a family reunion if you managed to rent them all. The backyard is perfect for grilling out. We will definitely be back in the future!

Our Host, Casey

Our Host Casey was very nice. She made sure that we were comfortable. We had to go down to FL for a family medical emergency. The house and property were very clean. The pool was a stress relief at the end of the day. I will definitely stay there again if we go back!

Great spot for families with a dog

We all enjoyed our stay at Wimpy's. The fenced front yard was very handy for our dog. The pool area was amazing. I agree with other guest, there are a few things that need attention but it did not affect our stay. We would book again.

Chemical Burns from pool

House was clean. It's a duplex but advertised as a house. Not a private pool, it's shared with 4 other properties. When someone arrived on the other side of the duplex you could hear them as if they were inside your rental. I did like I had a private area for my dogs. Other side showed up with 3 dogs they kept letting in the pool area even though contract clearly states it's not allowed. THE WORST PART! MY 10 yo grandson had to be rushed to the hospital and had CHEMICAL BURNS to his eyes and face, my son had chemical burns to his back and friend had burns to her eyes. I had noticed the pool guy was there 2 days in a row putting chlorine but I know nothing about pools. The Dr at the hospital said we "reeked of chlorine" and said we need to test out pool. I explained I was in a rental and he said I need to tell them it's too much. I got back from the hospital late my grandson was in excruciating pain. I finally got him settled. We left the next day. I messaged the owner and the only response I got was ok I'll let the pool company know. WHAT? Ive given him time to reach out to me and nothing. I even took a pic of the hospital paperwork showing the diagnosis. We left the house spotless so he could at least refunded the cleaning fee to cover the ER visit!

Great Getaway Cottage

Wimpy's Whereabouts is a cute, cozy, clean and well-appointed, pet-friendly cottage in a nice neighborhood within short distance of shopping, restaurants and beaches. There is an amazing pool that families with children would love! The property manager was responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, and would book this cottage again in the future!

Compound with shared pool in Bradenton, FL

This unit worked well for us. It was definitely neat and clean and the location was good-close to a church and a school and not too far from the beaches and shopping. It appears they are still working on things and figuring things out. There was no remote for one TV so we shared the BR one with the living room which worked, there was no shelf in one bedroom closet, seems like there are still projects going on at the house that have not been completed-not a big deal and something we didn't mind-neither shower light worked-we couldn't find extra bulbs to change them, drywall needs patching and finishing but we also realize sometimes cleaners and guests don't inform the hosts of these items. No extra linens or blankets if someone is cold. We received no information on check in or check out so we winged it and did what we've done in the past with VRBO rentals. Shared large, fenced yard and pool were great-pools slide was awesome, they have created a nice compound that can work well for groups of all ages.

Delightful

Used the pool every day! (Love that it's heated!) Set up nicely for family enjoyment, our kids range from 8-1. Even when other rental families were using the pool, plenty of room to not feel crowded. Landry and full size kitchen were the bee's knees for this mama. Interaction with the owners was always professional and comfortable.

Nice place to relax

We had a great time. Just away from home grilling the pool. It is a quiet spot near town. The pool toys/equipment were a nice touch and having our own laundry also nice.
