We had no interaction with the host. We did with the management company, quite a few times over the course of 20 days. We left a day early because of all the stress this caused. We paid extra for the pool to be heated. We were assured it would be on when we got there. It was not on. The water was cold. When we realized it, we messaged immediately, and were told it will warm up. It still was not warm a few days later and they addressed the problem, where we were told that they forgot to turn it on. Then the pool company comes out and the pool is not working because there is an issue with the capacitor so they had to replace that. By that point, a week of our stay was gone. Then the weather changed and it got cold, not their problem, but had they had known and fixed it imeediately, we could have used it to relax in the nice weather. Then, we have the pool fixed and then the pool guy comes back to the house on New Years Eve in a panic saying he needed to shut down the whole pool again because it was broke. He went in the backyard and started pulling plugs and wires to shut the whole pool off, disconnected the pool and the cable which we did not know until the cable company came out to fix the issue. The pool company came out and had to order parts and they eventually got it fixed again. In total, we had 6 days of the 21 to use and enjoy the pool. The management company said they would not charge us for the pool heating at all, they tried to rectify the issue, but not relaxing.
