«Nydelige bygg og omgivelser. Koselig stemning inne. Fantastisk bad. Det eneste minuset vi har er at der var flekker på vegg på bad og der vi spiste. Samt at dører som folk ferdes gjennom godt kunne vært rengjort litt hyppig. Hundevennlig - og forståelse for hundene. I baren var det lett å komme i snakk med folk. Disse hundene er kanskje en årsak til det, men veldig hyggelig. Vi har hatt det veldig bra her, og skulle gjerne vært noen dager ekstra. Så en skal ikke se bort fra at vi kommer igjen. »

«We had the luck of staying during the week of Halloween. the room was spacious and comfortable. There was a wonderful Halloween event happening and we especially enjoyed the owl show. »

«Excellent time from check in to leaving, lovely place right in the heart of Ambleside a stones throw from everywhere we needed to be, great bars and restaurants. Breakfast was top notch both days. »

«Just enjoyed a 3 nights stay. Absolutely gorgeous accommodation, tastefu decor and really spacious. We arrived and the hallway had the most gorgeous smell, our room was absolutely spotless and had a lovely homely feeling. A gorgeous giraffe lamp in the Snug! The bathroom was really clean and great products. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend to friends. Also the position is perfect and we had onsite parking.»

«Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.»

«What a fabulous place to stay in lovely Bowness on Windermere. Chris and Vicky are so friendly, they were so helpful and accomodating to any requests, communication prior to check in was superb. Our room was beautiful, a gorgeous view over Lake Windermere, wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, fab hot shower, really clean and comfortable. «We had a brilliant stay at Melrose B&B. Our room was immaculate and had everything we needed. Staff were very helpful and parking was provided. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning»

«Jeg bodde her 1 natt ifm biltur i Lake District. Stedet ligger meget kort gåavstand fra Windermere sentrum. Parkering skjer på hotellets område Jeg ble meget godt tatt imot av vertinnen, men etter innsjekk var det lite å se av personalet Rommet hadde fin størrelse med de nødvendige fasiliteter; - vannkoker med kaffe, te og kjeks - TV - WIFI men ikke AC - stedet tilbyr utlån av vifter. Baderommet hadde også grei størrelse. Alt var godt rengjort og vedlikeholdt. En god og rikholdig frokost ...

«It was our first overnight stay here and we were pleasantly pleased how conveniently located it was to the centre. Tea, coffee and sugar provided, a very comfortable double bed which was spotlessly clean and fresh and everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely stay here again. Car parking is directly opposite. »
