I booked the stay with the understanding that there was a restaurant and bar ON SITE. However when we arrived we were greeted by a large empty area within the hotel that was meant for the bar and it was really uninviting.
The pool was in need of a cleaning. It was open, however I was disappointed in the fact that it had so much hair and dust bunny type stuff in it. The water was also pretty cold for an indoor pool. My husband & I were looking forward to the pool and were rather disappointed by it and only ended up putting our feet in.
The room itself was very clean. The beds were nicely made and we especially enjoyed the black out shades. The bathroom was clean as well. My husband and I definitely enjoyed the glass shower door. However, it was in need of an updated seal around the bottom as it was pretty black from mildew.
The man that was at the counter during my check in was incredibly kind and helpful with the local food options. Come morning time the woman that was there was helpful as well. When I was trying to check out though, she was nowhere to be found. I just wanted to make sure I got my deposit back hence when I didn’t walk out without speaking to someone.
The morning breakfast was good. My husband, our teen daughter, her friend and myself enjoyed the various options. I couldn’t find a real idea of what was offered, so feel free to look at the pics I snapped while there.
