«The property itself is beautiful and quirky which we loved. The kitchen train carriage is also great and it's a wonderful area to stay in. Breakfast was OK, but very basic. Our main issue was privacy - which varies depending on the room you're in. This was not accurately described in our opinion and we were disappointed to discover our bedroom faced directly onto a shared verandah. «Montville was an adventure. If one has a mobility limitation, getting around on the steep main street can be quite challenging. This was also true of the Altitude on Montville, which is built on a steep slope. The room that is equipped for disabled access is beautiful. We'd have been very happy there, but it wasn't practical to use it because a power surge during a recent storm had killed the small lift that was needed to access the room. «We enjoyed our stay to celebrate our 45 anniversary. Very relaxing sitting on the balcony overlooking the creek. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels. A nice touch was the fresh bread, butter and condiments for breakfast. Being a Sunday night the only place open was the pub for dinner but wow what a dinner that was. The best meal we have had in a long time.»
