  • Enjoy a relaxing stay in this beautiful Scandinavian-style cottage on Elmer Sands Estate, set within large private gardens and just a short stroll from the beach. Perfect for family reunions, group getaways, or relaxing breaks with friends, Ancton Way offers comfort, space, and a peaceful coastal setting.
    Nestled in lovely gardens and backing onto woodland the property offers flat, easy walks along the lane to the beach,making it ideal for guests of all ages.
    Up three steps to the front door and entering the house into the central hallway, guests are welcomed by a spacious hallway. On this floor you'll find a shower room with WC and a utility room equipped with a washing machine, iron, and ironing board.
    The kitchen and dining area is designed for entertaining, with a large dining table seating up to 10 guests, perfect for enjoying meals together you have whipped up in the kitchen or why not try something from one of the local takeaways. The kitchen itself is very well equipped to self cater for your stay with kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer (with a further small fridge freezer in the utility room), electric oven and hob and microwave.
    The sitting room has plenty of comfortable seating for guests to snuggle up in the evening to watch the smart tv or sit and enjoy the view of the garden. This room has access to the veranda a lovely spot to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee. Also on the ground floor there is a king size room with an en suite bathroom.

    Upstairs to the first floor there is a large landing the hosts have set up as a play room with a large smart TV. There are three bedrooms off this area, the master bedroom with double and single bed, a double room and lastly a twin room. There is a camp bed available on request for a 10th guest, please request this at the time of booking. The family bathroom is on the first floor with shower over the bath. There are two travel cots available and one high chair.

    Outside the house is surrounded by lovely private gardens, there is a large driveway with enough parking for at least 4 cars.

    We welcome a maximum of 2 dogs at this property.

    Ancton Way is a charming and spacious coastal retreat, offering comfort, character, and the perfect setting for a memorable stay by the sea.

Family friendly experience

We stayed for two weeks and the home is perfect for families. There are two cots that can be used for small children and babies and there is a high chair for little ones to eat at. There are toys available to play with for children of a range of ages. The home is really well catered for for a family visit. We stayed with our 7 month old and the facilities were excellent. The house is big and has a large dining table for family meals. We had four adults staying on our trip and had plenty of space in the dining and living rooms. The bathrooms are large and there are two showers and two baths and three toilets in total so plenty of space for a large group to use to get ready for a fun day out of activities. There are lots of books, games and DVDs if you need something to do in the house. The location is close to the beach and amenities. I would definitely recommend this spacious house for a group of family or friends and would recommend especially for families.
