«The area and the space were great! We just didn't love the fact that the "neighbors" below us were likely residents of the downstairs space. They were very quiet, but in context of a cottage in the country, it just feels a little off to have someone living in the same dwelling you're renting to get away from it all. Neighbors that are also vacationers would have made it a little less uncomfortable. Not bad experience, but not our preference for the context. »

«This was a very clean place. Easy to find and the pool was excellent. This was a spur of the moment stay for us and couldn’t have been happier. Neighborhood appeared to be nice as well. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.»

«Ashley was fantastic. House was exactly what we needed. One thing you may want to advertise is that there a nice pickleball courts just a 5 minute walk away along with a coffee shop. Such convenience but still in a beautiful mountain setting. I wish we had brought our racquets. »

«Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub was clean. Deck was in great condition. There was a gate on upper deck so our dogs were able to enjoy being outdoors with us on the deck in the evenings. Great look out just up the road at the Blackrock park/viewing point. Communication with owners was prompt and very friendly. »

«VRBO and the host double booked the place. After a long drive we arrived to a house full of guests who were already unpacked and very unhappy to see us. VRBO's "VRBO Care" would have had us moved from a 4 bedroom house to a hotel for one night, and then the remaining nights at a similar place nearby (but that we would need to find on our own). This was unacceptable so we asked for a full refund.»

«This was a great stay for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the location was ideal, especially for the price! The AC is new and works great in the central rooms but does have a little trouble cooling the bedrooms simply because of the age of the house. Other than a few very loud vehicles that drive past, it was surprisingly quiet for the location. It was cool to stay somewhere with so much history!»
