«This is a wonderful lil piece of heaven under the stars tucked up a lil Hollar road. Decor was new and very nice. Everyone was friendly and very nice to help anyway. «Cabin was clean and peaceful, although the drive up to the cabin was pretty steep and narrow (this is coming from someone who lives in a flat area!) The hot tub area was perfect with a huge hot tub & relaxing day bed. The shower was also great with good water pressure. I wasn't a big fan of the bed ...it was low & a little too soft for my back, but it definitely wasn't uncomfortable, just different from my firmer mattress. «Our favorite thing about this property was the awesome river access. The kids had the best time playing in the river and the huge yard. The house had plenty of space for two families with children. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions we had. I would recommend having a few more utensils in the kitchen and more towels/wash cloths for guests but overall this is a great place to escape reality and just chill. We truly enjoyed our quiet, secluded long weekend on the river.»

It was convenient to the interstates yet so secluded and quiet! We enjoyed steaks from Hilly Haven and even watched a Bald Eagle soar over the river! «No wifi and cell service is very spotty as one would expect. Not a criticism, just an observation. There are a good deal of steps to deal with so beware if you have mobility issues. The lake itself is a walk away, no direct views from the house. The rear deck needs some TLC.»
