«Stayed for 3 nights over New Year...was absolute bliss. Late booking and the communication was brilliant to get it sorted. Cottage was immaculate throughout with everything we needed. Perfect location for walks, and yet only 5 minutes from shops and Durham centre Will be returning again for sure...thank you.»

«A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. »

«We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages). «Cute little cottage in a quiet little town, down a little side street away from the main road, suited our needs. We stayed n December so the cottage although small took a fair time to warm up , underfloor heating downstairs was nice but the fire needed to be on aswell to heat the cottage toa decent temp. I thought the heaters upstairs were too small to heat both the bedroom and the bathroom. Dogs are allowed in the property but not allowed on furniture, nice touch was a little basket with ...
