«Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. »

«We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages). «We had a lovely stay in this apartment, very clean and well equipped. We will definitely be back. It’s very well placed for visiting Hadrians Wall. We travelled by train and found the bus service more than adequate for our needs. The bus stop is outside the apartment. Also there is a range of shops and eateries. On Wednesday in the market square there was a pop up rice van selling take away food.»
