Nedslitt hotell
Er vel et av de dyreste hotellene i Blackpool, men det lever ikke helt opp til standarden det burde hatt. Hadde rom med seaview I 4 etasje med skråtak som man lett kunne slå hodet i. Vinduet på rommet var ikke mulig å lukke helt, så det blåste inn på rommet. Det andre vinduet var punktert, så man kunne nesten ikke se igjennom det pga. Kondens inni vinduet. Hva er da poenget med seaview? Vasken på badet har fortsatt to kraner med varmt og kaldt vann, hva med å få et ordentlig blandebatteri? Badekar er også veldig gammeldags med fast dusjhode, så her burde det vært satt inn et dusjkabinett. Resepsjonen og fellesarealer ser fint ut, men rommene virker veldig slitt, så en oppussing burde vært gjort til den prisen man betaler. Frokosten er helt grei, men veldig ensformig. Burde vært litt flere alternativer enn bare English breakfast. Etter 5 dager blir man lei av maten. Utenfor hotellet er det ingen dedikerte røykeplassen med askebeger, dette burde det vært, da folk bare kaster sigarettsneiper over alt. Synd at de ikke oppgraderer hotellet så man føler man får valuta for pengene man betaler.

Litt nedslitt og dyrt hotell
Flott erverdig hotell som preges av tidens tann pga. mangelfull oppgradering og vedlikehold. Har nok vært flott for 100 år siden, så de burde ha oppgradert det. Gulvene i alle etasjer er skjeve og det knirker og knaker når man går i korridorene. Det var alt for høy temperatur på rommene og ingen mulighet til å skru ned temperaturen. Så det positive, gode senger, hyggelig og hjelpfull betjening. Frokostbuffet var også flott med mye å velge imellom. Vil nok ikke bo der igjen da prisen ikke gjennspeiler det man forventet. Har ligget på mye billigere hotell i Blackpool med samme standard.

Stunning old building with lots of character. The whole feel of the place was lovely. The staff were amazing - everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Our room was a great size (family room). We didn’t need the third bed though as the master bed was enormous and we all slept in there! We would certainly return.

Really nice old hotel that is well maintained and preserved its grandeur. Just need better coffee at breakfast as probably the worst coffee ever. But apart from the coffee, great value, nice staff and beautiful interior. Would definitely stay here again

What a lovely period hotel. Yes its old but its loved. Good staff. Good room. Generally good guests. The bar and bar staff are good. The room service and restaurant prices are very fair. Big shout out for the breakfast. Quallity tip top and its Hot, not like many luke warm. I always wondered what The Imperial was like, now we know.

Wonderful Victorian architecture. Loved the photographs of all of the Royalty, politicians and celebrities that have stayed there. Large, well equipped bedrooms. Just a little tired but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were both really good. Excellent service and very friendly staff.

Nice hotel on North shore, little bit out of town centre but only a few minutes walk. There is a charge for parking, but its not huge £9 per night. (Have to enter reg on system)The staff were very welcoming and provided all the info you would want on arrival. The room was not the biggest but didnt feel crowded, only downside to the room was the number of plug sockets. Restaurant was quiet for our evening meal but it was midweek, the food was of a high standard and very nice. Over all a really nice stay would definitely consider coming back.

Lovely spacious room. Buffet breakfast was excellent and included black pudding and fried bread (that you wouldn’t get in a lot of hotels especially down south). Would definitely stay there again.

Amazing hotel with lots of character, rooms lovely. Whole hotel soo clean and tidy. Nice bar if a bit pricey for soft drinks. But nightly entertainment of which i dropped on a great singer which we had a fab night singing along and dancing. Staff all so friendly and helpful. Will be my go to hotel in blackpool from now on, worth paying that bit extra than 'brand' names just for the feel of this historic hotel.

Ideal for a comfortable stay in Blackpool
Staff all very helpful and engaging taking time. Problem with heating in the room was rectified quickly. We had daily breakfasts and a 'light dinner' in the bar all were very good.

Massively needs updating in all areas.
Very old, massively needs decorating and modernising and new windows. Our room was really cold and such a draft coming from the window and the puddles of condensation on the window sill that had ran off the window. The hotel bar is nice and there was a singer on which was good. Hotel staff were very friendly.

Lovely hotel but needs a little more updating to rooms. The carpets and curtains look tired. I did need to ask for the heating to be switched on a couple of nights. I do go back on solo trips each year because how great the staff are.

We paid £235 for 2 nights in the hotel which was highly over inflated for the service provided. £115 a night to have to pay for parking, queue for check in, queue for a very average breakfast and use filthy toilets on the ground floor with empty soap dispensers. A Premier Inn stay would have been half the price and delivered in all of these areas particularly breakfast. I can't remember the last hotel I stayed in that only offered white or brown bread at breakfast and lumps of under cooked bacon that my son thought tasted like ham. To top it all we stayed in the car park for 1 hour whilst unloading and was told we wouldn't be charged by two staff and then recieved a £60 parking fine!

Decor was a bit weary, but the room was a fabulous size - also included a bath, which was super! Long corridors made for long walks, key card failed twice that didn't help - I reached my steps target without venturing far. Breakfast was good; buffet style with tea/coffee served on request. Service was excellent, and bar reasonably priced (cheaper than a local pub I went to). Tram service just outside the hotel is a real plus. Really enjoyed my stay.
