«We stayed in the Monash Cottage as it is pet friendly, this was a major attraction for our stay. The Monash Cottage is quite a rustic building with a unique history, however the basic nature of the building won’t be for everyone. But it worked really well for our purposes and would stay again. This site is an interesting piece of living history in a rural setting.»

«My husband and I , along with our small cavoodle Tashi, enjoyed a relaxing getaway in April. The bush setting was a lovely contrast to our usual beach focussed experiences. We loved the access to fabulous bush walks snd our hosts were happy to share their extensive knowledge of tge area. The accomodation was well situated, very clean and comfortable. «Stayed here over the long weekend, and loved the house. House was very clean and welcoming, beds were comfortable (and the electric blankets were even left on for us) Hosts contacted us before we arrived to see if we had any questions, and were next door if we needed anything. Lovely bowl of fruit on arrival, and some homemade honey to taste also. Thanks for letting us stay 😊»

Our plans had us out for the majority of the second day and we felt we had not given ourselves enough time to explore. «Moggs Creek is tucked away from the crowds and traffic of Great Ocean Road but you can walk straight into the forest or straight into beautiful beaches. This small cottage was perfect for us and you staring straight into the bush. Our dog was welcome but you do need to be careful about pets wandering around with the forest right there. If you want peace and quiet and you don’t need a new home with all the bells and whistles then like us you’ll enjoy this one.»
