«The view of the harbour from our room was great and the location to restaurants etc was very good. On street parking was hard to find. Room was very dated which I sort of expected. Linens need to be replaced and washed more effectively and area carpet was stained and tired. Breakfast at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Room came equipped with milk and creamers in the fridge as well as real glasses and mugs instead of paper and plastic. Nice touch.»

«The motel room was exceptionally clean and roomy. The towel warmer was a nice touch It took quite some time to get warm water and it would have been nice to have a full length mirror other than the very small one that was in the bathroom Unable to assess the helpfulness of staff as it was a non contact entry and were sent a code to get into room . We saw no one while we were there the two nights. Fortunately we were only 2 and had more than enough towels etc and making beds is not necessary»

Our room was cozy and inviting, and the bathroom felt luxurious with its spacious walk-in shower. Craig was easygoing and a pleasure to chat with, it’s clear he and his wife have poured their hearts into this new venture. «Hand rail going up and down the stairs was missing. Making it very unsafe. Carpet looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. When we arrived one of the beds looked like it had been sat on. Needless to say, we ended up leaving and not staying the night. Even though we had paid.»

«We looked out at the Bluenose sailboat from our room. We had a very high four post king bed that we used the stool provided to climb into. It was a quaint room with all the necessities needed for an overnight stay. We had a delicious meal at restaurant below.»
