«This house was perfect and cozy for our family trip to the Hocking Hills. We were able to be comfortable like we were home. We enjoyed the sights of the Hocking Hills and able to return to the house to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing evening by the campfire. Lena was a wonderful host. She had everything there and easy to find! We did not have to bother her at all!»

«This place was one of the best places we ever stayed at. So quiet and the wildlife was amazing. Birds of all kinds, deer, turkey, bullfrogs and turtles also. The lake was fun and the hiking trails were just enough for a bit of exercise. We stayed for 3 nights and never left the property. Hated to leave. Roger and Mary joined us around the campfire as my friend played acoustic guitar. Great owners!! Only suggestion we had was maybe some hooks on the wall in the main bedroom to hang some clothes.»

«This property is a well-kept little secluded oasis. The owner knocks it out of the park, providing the little necessities, from bathroom supplies to K-cups... The cleanliness gets a 10! We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub after hiking all day. The kitchen skillets/pans and utensils are all new and high quality. The fourth bedroom and bonus area are only accessible by a spiral staircase but are a great place for kids. It was a little further from Hocking Hills than I realized. But it was a ...

«My family and I absolutely loved this VRBO. If I was younger (I’m now retired) and needed an apartment, this is EXACTLY what I would be looking for. The bedroom with the pink accents was my favorite. Very clean, nice neighborhood, felt safe. Would definitely love to stay here again if I’m in the area. One thing….i am short, 5’ tall, perhaps a small stepping stool to get onto the beds would be a nice touch.»

«This was my family's 2nd Vrbo experience and by far the best! We stayed here during our visit to Point Pleasant and Mothman Museum. Vrbo properties on the W. Virginia did not offer the amenties our family sought. Runaway Retreat was a slice of peace and quiet! The deck/porch brought the outdoors to us. The spacious family room provided individual lounging space during family time. Everything we needed was there! Thanks!»

«We enjoyed our overnight stay at “Our Little House on the Corner.” We were in town for one night to attend a wedding, and the house had everything we (5 of us) needed. Beds were comfortable, communication with owner was exceptional, and ease of checking in and checking out was excellent. Highly recommend.»

«This tiny home is fresh and tidy. The deck was nice to sit on at night. The fan in the bedroom was nice at night. We did lose power for a couple hours during our second night. But we were able to open the window in the bedroom to some cool air. My only suggestion would be to think about getting a full length mirror. Host was very responsive. A great stay overall.»
