«Spent 4 nights in this wonderful cabin. We've been to many cabins & I will say this was the most well equipped cabin we've been to. It was missing absolutely nothing that we needed. We don't normally book for a hot tub because we don't often use them but we had a chilly day that made it perfect to use. Fishing was okay, but you do have to be somewhat fit to make the hike up (down is easy of course) from the ponds. We saw deer every day & the scenery is gorgeous. Highly recommend!»

«This was a very low key and relaxing place to stay. There weren't a lot of rules for clean-up that made it feel like you were doing something wrong. Very simple - keep your bed unmade and put your towels on the floor and close the windows. The owner was responsive and kind. Nice cottage feel to the place. We would stay time and time again.»

«It's a nice place, kitchen has everything you need, plenty of room for 4 adults + some kids. Good luck finding a better spot with a WV back country woods off a beautiful deck. Minor cons: WIFI is incredibly slow an will go out completely with clouds. Going up stairs can be challenging if you are over 5 foot. Check-in process needs an updated lock box.»

«We were in town for work. This home was a great place to come back to each night & relax. Quiet, clean & comfortable. We loved the open spaces & all of the windows! Not a huge problem... but the internet is satellite... and unfortunately, it rarely worked. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!!!»

«Small cabin, yes. Perfect for a family of up to four, max. Perfect for a couple. This cabin is absolutely delightful, though. I would love to come back to it. It is actually a bit bigger than these photos make it look, and has a great outdoor space around it. It is also well appointed and the decorations and style are perfect.»

«Really nice property and cabin; however, we were only there an hour and a half before a transformer blew and the power was cut off due to a windstorm. So we were unable to spend the night. The owner was amazing and understanding and submitted a full refund. I would love to book again another time and have the opportunity to enjoy it.»

«Property was very clean. A couple of comments, not problems. 1) It would help to have the wifi logon and password posted or given to the renter. 2) A channel listing for the TV would help. Also, shielded cables for the cable, tv, and router would help. There was interference with the tv signal when we talked on our cell phones, the bathroom heater kicked on,and when we made coffee.»

«We had a great stay here at the Muskie-Lounge River Retreat!! We were here for my son’s wedding. The cabin was clean and ready when we arrived. The Tenney’s were flexible on check-in times and allowed us to get in a bit early to be able to shower/change from traveling before our rehearsal dinner. Evenings spent on the deck around the fire was very relaxing!! Would for sure bring the family back again!»

«Our Cheat River stay this second time, was exceptional.. They did some changes (an overhang over the hot tub) that we thought was going to be bad (You want to see the sky there) But turned out awesome! We were able to be in the hot tub with snow and sleet coming down AND able to watch baseball at the same time. The beds were comfortable, pots and pans and everything we needed for a great stay. Also, the mgmt was very responsive when we needed them. We will for sure be back!! Thank you!!»

«First of all, the location is like a dream. Soooo quiet. You only hear birds outside. Its secluded but not terribly far from convenience. Owner gives separate directions to avoid steep roads so we had no trouble reaching the cabin in our front wheel drive sedan. Somehow achieving the status of our most dog friendly stay ever YET not a sign of the previous occupants. So very clean!
