«Our group of couples + kids enjoyed our getaway to the Eastern Shore. Betterton was a great home base to visit our alma mater, Washington College, in Chestertown. There, we visited the farmers market and waterfront park & playground with the kids. Back in Betterton, the house fit our group well. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space for each family. «The kids joined us for a weekend on our sailboat, this was the perfect spot to get together after a long day on the water. My one son set a new record on the PAC Man and the other caught a beautiful bass off the dock. The river view from the sunroom is spectacular! Everyone always migrated there. Great time had by all. We will be back in the fall.»

«Three generations from PA, CO and VT all converged on the "Top of the Chesapeake" and had a lovely time. This is a stellar place for bird watching since it's between a creek and the upper Bay ("river".) Kayaks were a hit with 12 year olds and their parents. The owner's very reasonable rules and guidelines were so easy and he was available for help. Highly recommend this place!»

«Truly an unobstructed view of the bay. Property was very clean, and had plenty of space for 9 people (7 adults, 2 teens.) Excellent communication w/ host and well-stocked with kitchen supplies, linens, and outdoor equipment for your stay. The front porch was missing some screens and needed a little cleaning and sprucing up for the summer season. Overall, a wonderful stay, and our family made a lot of great memories at Buena Vista!»

«The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable, Except for the bunkbeds. The bunkbeds are probably great for kids, but we had an adult sleeping in one of them and, Despite the wider width, The mattress was not comfortable for a heavier body.
