"I don't know why and where this error happened, but the error lies between hotels.com and Hotel Am Schloss..., and so I feel this rating is justified.
When arriving at the hotel after a long day at a BER airport in complete chaos because of weather-related shutdown, I was told that despite the fact that I had made a reservation and pre paid for a hotel room many hours earlier, they had no rooms left. My colleague, who checked in earlier on the same booking, got a room. So they clearly knew about the booking. They offered me a room at a hotel completely on the other side of town, costing me 50-60 euros extra in Uber fares to and from, and an hour of sleep in what was already going to be a very short night. The room I ended up in was fine, and the gentlemen at both desks polite and helpful (albeit extremely slow with the check in process), so they get two stars for that. "
