«Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. «Theresa was AMAZING from the start and so accommodating. I was traveling to Purina Farms for a dog show, so this being a dog friendly place to stay was necessary. She had no issues answering my questions and had extra blankets, dog amenities, etc. throughout the house. Theresa was communicative throughout the entire process, and I would definitely stay here if I visit Missouri again. She has a fenced in yard which was a HUGE bonus and made things alot easier. 5 stars from me and my friends I ...

«Great communication, had a couple of leaks and shower flooded but the maintenance came right away to fix it. Overall clean, AC/Heat unit in each room, big kitchen, wonderful sitting area and decor.»

«We loved the quiet serenity of this preserved piece of Franklin County History. The renovations of Pikes Peak Schoolhouse were refreshing and well thought out. Clean would be an understatement. It was pristinely clean and comfortable. Peacefuland munutes away from Washington's fantastic downtown shops, pubs, coffee shops, and resturants. Then there's wine country! Great first retirement getaway.»

«Everything was clean and neat. Just as expected. What a nice little house in a quiet rural area. Seems like very close access to the Katy trail. We had three kids and five adults but with all the beds, basement space and foldout couches, it could have easily slept 13. More if you bring an air mattress. This was perfect for our overnight stay for a family wedding. The host was very responsive to all my pestering messages. »
