The owners were welcoming and helpful, cooked us a delicious (and enormous!) meal, and we were able to hire bikes the next morning to explore the coconut plantations and waterways of the surrounding area. It's in a beautiful location - about a 10 minute taxi from Ben Tre, but well worth the few £'s it costs to get there. «This is an historic sprawling building situated on the river front. The front desk reception was very friendly and enthusiastic. She gave us a room on the second floor with balcony overlooking the river. Room was basic but comfortable. Internet was fine. Shower was good. Facilities in the room were relatively new, perhaps a few years at most. Bed and linen were comfortable. There is a minibar and fridge in the room. Breakfast consisted of a menu. «The property was beautifully landscaped, the service was impeccable and the cooking class was fantastic. The bahn xeo was the best I have had in Vietnam so far, and we are 2 weeks after our stay. The rest of the food was amazing! Vinh is a great host and you are in a jungle village in the middle of nowhere on the Mekong Delta. An amazing experience. As a side note, the room is basic and there is no air conditioning, but the night does cool off and there are multiple fans in the room.»
