One of the best parts was all the staff including the adventure guides. Everyone was so nice, friendly, and hospitable. They made you feel like you belong there and were part of their family. »

«An amazing experience! Abdiel, Rita, Ragner, and so many others took such good care of us. Such genuine people at a beautiful resort. Food was great! If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! We did the ATM tour and appreciated the deep compassion and respect our guide (Ben) had for the history of the archaeological site. We'll be back!»

«The property is beautifully maintained and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a little farther out of the "city centre" but taxis are easy and cheap. The rooms were very clean, excellent water pressure, pool was clean and the onsite meals were delicious and authentic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. »

Enjoyed tubing (& successfully made it over the falls!), rope swing into the river, hiking & night hike. The resort scheduled all our transportation (to/from Belize City) & the ATM tour we did. We stayed 4 nights. In hind sight the only thing we would have done differently was booked a room with A/C. The humidity was brutal in May. »

«This place is amazing. We stayed for three nights before transferring to San Pedro, and I miss Blancaneaux! We transported by heli and when we were greeted by loving staff with horses and buggy, we were ecstatic! All three restaurants are delicious and fun, and the bar staff is fantastic! «This beautifully designed lodge, on 4000 acres, is a unique experience. 107 free range horses, parrots, monkeys add to the ambience. Large , comfortable a/c rooms, friendly staff, good restaurant ,and lovely pool, make for a memorable stay. Convenient to many sites. Owner’s wife is an excellent artist and has a gallery there. We loved it!»

«This place was amazing. The view of the wilderness was awesome. We stayed in the Firewatch villa and had a front row seat to various birds with a great view. We took a guided tour of the property and saw 4 waterfalls, a hawk and had a private lunch at the secret pool with another waterfall and hammock. The staff was amazing. Marvin gave us a lot of information on our tour as did Vion when he took us cave tubing. They arranged our transportation from the airport and to the ATM cave. The ...

«Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. «Howler Monkey was an interesting little place. Family run and in a fairly remote location so we saw enormous, 5 ft. orange iguanas along the river (take binoculars to see them better) and heard the howlers in the area. «WE loved the quiet place!WE loved it also because it's not the Resort/Tourist area but the traditional area,a bit far from the city to enjoy a quiet place but close enough to go to the city center to eat and enjoy a drums concert!Nice Hosts who advised us a nice trip renting their little boat or renting kayak to go to the laguna which is very close.we loved also the Kismet Inn because of the host'paintings,chairs and hamacks to relax!Great to relax!
