The village location provides an ideal base to explore the magnificent unspoilt coastline, historic castles, and picturesque countryside of Northumberland. Just four miles away is the charming village of Bamburgh with its magnificent castle, glorious sandy beaches, and independent shops, while the mediaeval town of Berwick-Upon-Tweed is also nearby. The area offers numerous attractions including boat trips to the Farne Islands from Seahouses Harbour (7 miles), the Holy Island of Lindisfarne with its tidal causeway, and the historic market towns of Alnwick, Craster, and Warkworth. This dog-friendly accommodation accommodates two people, with one dog welcome for an additional charge.



This beautifully presented shepherd's hut features a welcoming open-plan living/dining/sleeping area with a cosy wood burner perfect for cooler evenings. The comfortable double bed provides a restful night's sleep after days of exploration, with convenient storage cupboards underneath. For practical needs, the hut includes an electric kettle, a fridge with an icebox, and an electric socket for charging devices. Guests also have access to a well-appointed shared kitchen equipped with microwaves, washing facilities, additional electric sockets, and a washing machine. The contemporary shower room includes a walk-in shower and WC, offering modern comforts despite the rustic setting. Tea lights and side table lighting create a cosy, ambient atmosphere throughout.



The private garden area offers a wooden table and chairs, ideal for alfresco breakfasts or evening BBQs under the stars. For a truly unique experience, guests can enjoy drinks in the spacious wooden tepee with its inviting central firepit, potentially sharing moments with guests from the two other huts on the grounds. The property is surrounded by open countryside and farmland, providing peaceful views and a sense of rural tranquility. Breakfast baskets can be delivered directly to your hut for an additional charge payable to the owner.
