Das Haus war sauber und es war alles da, was benötigt wurde. Check-in und auch Check-out war problemlos. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und auch Tagesausflüge nach Barcelona, Girona und Figueras sind problemlos möglich. Begur ist eine nette kleine Altstadt mit vielen Restaurants.

Stunning property with amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the facilities were great and just as described. Great to have so much in the kitchen too. We did mention to Christine just a couple of minor things including a couple of beds outside in need of attention as well a couple of small sections of the decking, plus the barbecue grill a little tired and rusty. We loved our stay and would recommend.

My family and I were blown away with this villa - from the location, the decor, layout and gorgeous outdoor area with the fabulous pool.One thing we thought would be helpful would be a booklet or sheet of instructions for practical stuff. For example, with 6 guests and a child there was a lot of recycling over a week. Bin liners were provided but we had to contact the host to find out what to do with all the bags (there is a recycling centre nearby which you need a special card to access). Also there was no gas for the BBQ so again we had to contact the host to enquire about a replacement. Minor things which were quickly sorted but would have been good to have this information to hand.Overall an amazing stay in an amazing villa and would throughly recommend.

We’ve stayed in the villa end of March/beginning of April 2026. The villa is located at a fantastic spot with an amazing view. The villa offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and it is a nice walk to the sea. The host responds very fast in case you need anything. As it can be windy in this time of year, it can be the case that the pool is not getting heated to its’ full potential, but those windy periods are mostly only a couple of days. If you book the villa before mid-June, be aware of the fact that the until that time, it is allowed for builders to work in the area. Always double check with the host if this is the case when you plan to book.

Beautiful property

The house is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The views out back and from the pool are breathtaking. Christine was very responsive as a host and the entire check in and checkout processes were easy. There is construction on nearby houses occurring, but honestly it was not particularly disruptive and didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home at this amazing location. Withe the exception of a few minor issues, such as a dishwasher door that doesn’t fully open and a refrigerator door that isn’t connected to the panel door, the property was overall well equipped and maintained. It is tempting to spend your time just hanging out by the pool and enjoying the stunning views of the coast. Begur, a lovely little village, is in walking distance and a few beaches can be reached by foot if you don’t mind walking up the hill on your way back.

Orlando

Beautiful home with a very nice view. Clean. Plenty of parking space. Close to very beautiful beaches and nice restaurants. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Unfortunately the elevator is not part of the agreement, so be prepare to carry the luggage a couple of flights of stairs. We could of used cleaning services during our 11 days stayed if they were made available. We would stay again in the future.

Tolles Haus, grandiose Aussicht

Wir waren Ende Mai in diesem Haus. Es hat eine umwerfende Aussicht. Es war sauber und die Gastgeberin immer erreichbar. Leider ist die Wärmepumpe kurz vor unserem Aufenthalt kaputt gegangen, weshalb der Pool am Anfang sehr frisch war. Aber es wurde schnell repariert und wir konnten den Pool dann noch gut nutzen. Ansonsten ist alles vorhanden, um einen unbeschwerten Urlaub zu genießen.

A lovely stay

We had a great time at Casa Xula. First of all the location is magnificent, there are beautiful views and you can wake up admiring the sunrise. During the morning the terrace and pool area are sunny and set a good mood for the rest of the day. The neighbourhood is really nice and quiet, we had the chance to relax and sleep very good. The house is the best location base for exploring the area - we found lots of cultural highlights, medieval towns and villages, great and very diverse beaches. We loved the architecture of the house, the decor and all the little details that differentiate this lovely place. We had a very good communication with Christine, we followed her recommendation regarding the restaurants and it was worth it. Everyone had the best time here, thanks again for having us Christine!

Begur

The house is exceptionally comfortable with excellent quality appliances. We did have an issue with the temperature control of the heated pool. The water never got to what could be considered warm. Also the shower drains on the lower floor were slow to drain. Finally the construction crane being used on the adjacent house construction was a minor detraction to an otherwise magnificent view.
