«Henry at the front desk was super helpful and knowledgeable about the area. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself while dated had the quiet elegance of days gone by. We enjoyed our visit. The Maritime charm shone through. We would recommend the Pines. Hopefully the new owners will continue to honour this grand Dame with thoughtful renovations and updates.»

«While the on line pictures were OK the property was much more primitive than expected. The wood burning stove was appreciated however the kindling supply (outside in the bin) was limited; did get the fire going, twice, tho’. The adjacent bathroom could be spiffed up. Our host was very helpful &’friendly, heating our dinner at his own home.»
