«We went there for Christmas with our kids and friend. Place is clean, charming. Lot of stuff for kids, toys, games, books, plastic dishes, high chair. Living room is spacious, with view on lake. The fire place works great, quiet area with a small convenience store a little further. You'll have to drive around 40 minutes to do your groceries. One of our best stay !!»

«Nice older cottage right on the water. Beautiful rocky beach only feet away. The high cliffs and caves were awesome. The salt water in the taps and shower take some getting used too. Bring provisions as the restaurant isn't open. But the cottage is comfortable with good Wi-Fi»

«The Blue Heron cottage was one of the best stocked little cottages I've ever stayed at, incredibly well appointed with dishes, towels, extra blankets ect. I'm always disappointed by the lack of tools to cook in a place but not here! Plus a comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower. A perfect little getaway for my partner and I. Thank you so much for a great trip!»

«Was a wonderful stay and we ended up with more family arriving with kids so we were able to sleep lots!! Had everything you need!! Only feedback would be-the gas was cut while we were there which resulted in lots of grass being tracked inside and we spent a lot of time cleaning grass out of the cottage-which is not how you want to spend your vacation/time.»

«A wonderful location that provided us with the opportunity to explore the Annapolis Valley and the local vineyards. We tasted a couple of the local wines in the evening while enjoying the warmth of the wood stove. It was very thoughtful of the Sean to provide the firewood.»

«Such a special cottage and place. The location couldn’t be more wonderful. Lots to explore, and lots of thoughtful spaces for resting and relaxing. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped, the host is lovely and helpful, and it’s within easy driving distance of the city and various hiking trails and beaches.»
