«The staff is very welcoming and kind. The lobby downstairs is very comfortable to sit in for long periods. I wish they kept the snacks stocked but I guess that was minor. I really like how the place is decorated and would return if I could stay in one of their very cool private rooms. The wifi was excellent as well.»

«Comfortable bed. Decent hot shower. Lockers in the dorm that appeared to be secure. Unusually for a hostel, they provided shampoo and handwash in the showers and bathroom. It's rather spartan but is relaxing and enjoyable. Has most things you need. The one thing lacking was a kettle.»

He even prepared me a tea in the morning, explained how to explore George Town in a day (coz I was there for one day only), even help me sorted with my lost baggage issues. Would stay more days in the future trip to Penang.»

«On arrival thought the place was very good, easy checkin, friendly staff, decent sized room etc. Easy walk in the evening to Chullia St Hawker Stalls for a really good meal. All over the hotel there were signs about no noise after 10pm all was fine till 3am when the noise the door banging, running up & down the very old, very noisy stairwell this went on & off till 5am. «There was no one to open the locked front door when we arrived. Had to call up their contact number and the concerned person reached after 5-10 minutes while we waited outside with all our luggage. There is no front desk staff most of the time which leaves us with none to help with any needed information. The room is extremely congested as well.»

«This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. The bed was comfy, the showers were warm and with good pressure, the bathrooms were clean and the breakfast was excellent for a hostel. We were actually served warm breakfast for free every day, and we didn't have to do the dishes. The staff were always helpful (except one) and friendly with lots of knowledge about the area. The room was clean and every bed had a poweroutlet with usb-charging and different charging-types. I will stay here ...
