«Very nice indeed. »

«Excellent quite property with first rate modern amenities but with old historic feel from the hard work by the owners to bring back a luxurious comfortable English Manor House feel. I will be returning in the future and enjoy the place. All the details gave me the best night sleep that I can remember.»

«Topp sted med atmosfære.»

«We really enjoyed our stay at The George. It was authentic, absolutely clean as a whistle and the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. It is an authentic old inn so there were some creaky floors but it fine for us. The staff and the food were amazing. I would stay here again.»

«We were very disappointed. Lack of maintenance meant room was very poor. Room was vvv cold, we were given an extra duvet. Windows didn't shut properly. Bedside lamp didn't work. Shower head not fixed to wall. Room was small but we expected that.»

«Loved the location and quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again! Owner did a nice job with lots of local information—loved the recommendations for local walks.»

«We were only there for a stopover. The house was lovely and the host was very accommodating. They were very thoughtful and we appreciated it!»

«Very stylish victorian guesthouse. Clean, splendid breakfast, quite close to the city centre. Warm welcome, useful information. After that (we stayed there for 3 days) the tone changed, being businesslike and superficial.»

«Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus. Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it. Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty. We did feel the stairs were very deep and the additional of another hand rail may be something to consider. Lovely dark room and we slept so well. Breakfast was great, nice to see all local and home grown ...

«The best fellow that we have met, very warm personality. He made the place feel like a giant welcoming castle with lots of great stories to tell. It was clean and beautiful rooms with great amenities. We really recommend to stay there and hope to come back again.»

«Really lovely stay - friendly staff in a small pub in Combe Down open for evening meals during the week, and open for lunch onwards at the weekend. We had a lovely welcome, preordered breakfast for the next morning which was really delicious, and was shown to our room upstairs. A lovely view of the white horse in the distance and a comfy bed, with lovely furnishings. We would stay again.»

«Chris was een goede gastheer. Sprak vol over Bath en gaf veel nuttige tips. Super attent dat we een herinnering kregen over het verschuiven van de tijd.»

«This place was in the most adorable town and made you feel connected to it. The hosts were phenomenal and if you’re lucky you might get a homemade chocolate cake while you’re there.»

«Vi hadde et stort og deilig rom m fint bad. Trivelig personale og god frokost. Flott beliggenhet. Vi hadde ikke fått kode fôr ytterdøra (etter kl 19.00) men annen gjest slapp oss inn der nøkkelen lå. Parkeringa ble full hver kveld.Litt vanskelig styring av varme i gulvet på badet, ellers var oppholdet perfekt. »

«Nice authentic Hotel in Bath city center. Charming and great locatiob.»

«Fantastisk hyggelig sted med super beliggenhet. Kun få minutters gange til sentrum, parkering i hagen og nydelig rom. Afternoon tea i hagen kan anbefales!»
