«No one was around for check in. I had to wait around in the rain for 1 hour before a second couple showed up with a cellphone with a sim card. They were able to message the property through the app and got someone there within 20 minutes or so. They also tried to charge me twice.. If you stay here, make sure you have your receipt ready in case they try to charge you again. Also, it's a good idea to buy a sim card so you can contact them when you get there. It is NOT a manned office. »

«If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). «Pros: refrigerator, 2nd floor (bars on windows, blinds, and locks on windows/doors), parking, A/C in the bedroom, additional blankets, towels provided, sugar, tea/coffee and basic cooking utensils. Lots of facecloths in the bathroom. Soap dispensers. Geckos (they were cute). Walkable to downtown/restaurants. Kind hosts.
