Føl deg hjemme i familievennlige Barrington! Det ligger bare 15-20 minutter. borte fra Providence. Sjarmerende, koselig, landlignende 3-roms hus som ligger ved siden av et lite tjern som er omgitt av trær. Du kan sitte på en sving og se naturen opptre på egen hånd.
Dette sjarmerende hyttehuset er koselig med et landlig preg. Den har 3 soverom (1 queensize-seng, 1 enkeltseng, 1 dag seng med uttrekkbar (2 enkeltsenger). Den har en kjeller med forskjellige typer musikkinstrumenter og et solrom som fører deg til hagen og bassenget. Selv om det er bygget på 50-tallet, har dette fasilitetene fra det 21. århundre - et fullt utstyrt spisekjøkken, dusjkabinett, boblebad (bra for 1, ADA-klage), vaskemaskin / tørketrommel, kabel, internett, sengetøy , håndklær og redskaper til 5-6.
Gjestene har tilgang til utendørs peis, kullgrill, utendørs svømmebasseng i bakken (bare sommertid), sving og utemøbler. Bassenget er bare for gjester og deles ikke.
Ingen røyking / vaping i huset. Ingen kjæledyr takk. Vær hensynsfull naboer, og hold støy til et minimum etter 9 s. m.

Definitely recommended!

Wir haben als Familie (2 Erwachsene, 1 Teenager) in dem geräumigen Ferienhaus mit drei Schlafzimmern gewohnt. Die Besitzerin Reina begrüßte uns herzlich, zeigte uns alles Wichtige im Haus und gab viele hilfreiche Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Die große, gut ausgestattete Küche ermöglicht gemeinsames Kochen und Essen; der großzügige Kühlschrank bietet viel Platz für Vorräte. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es die Möglichkeit, TV zu schauen, ebenso wie im großen, vielseitig nutzbaren Keller. Dort befinden sich auch Waschmaschine, Trockner und zahlreiche Musikinstrumente für musikalische Abende. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend ohne Durchgangsverkehr, mit kleinem Teich und großem Pool hinter dem Haus. Der nahegelegene Radweg und die Strände von Barrington sind schnell erreichbar, ebenso wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im nahegelegenen, überraschend großen Supermarkt. Die Besitzerin stand bei Fragen immer schnell und hilfsbereit zur Verfügung. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.We (2 adults and 1 teenager) stayed in the holiday home and were warmly welcomed by the owner Reina, who gave us helpful tips and introduced us to all details of the house. The spacious house offers three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large living room. The quiet neighborhood, pond, pool, and proximity to bike paths, beaches, and shopping made our stay very enjoyable. Reina was always available for questions. Very good!

Home rental was clean and perfect for our week long stay complete with in ground pool and beautiful back yard that our small dogs enjoyed as much as us. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and close to great restaurants, and grocery shopping. Reina was once again a gracious and accommodating host (this was our second stay) and we would stay here again if needed.

Reina (helpful and kind) met us at the property and walked us through the house, we called as we were arriving late and she even told us to stop because things closed at 9. Don’t let the square footage fool you there is tons of private space in basement. There are interesting books and the neighborhood is so cute! Beautiful area!!

Great stay!

Such a great house! We loved it! A beautiful garden so peaceful and my teens loved the pool! Aircon in every room was great. The host was brilliant she was on hand straight away for us if we needed her. Definitely recommend this cosy retro house! Thanks for having us!

Awesome location for family

My husband and I rented the home to be near family - Son and children (preschool) had an awesome time in the pool. Finished basement worked very well for them as well - Lovely neighborhood. Easy access to Providence and lots of info about the area offered by owner. We plan on returning next summer and possibly a visit this winter . Home is small so finished basement was very helpful … Home was very well equipped with just about everything you need - Owner was extremely helpful ..

Cute, clean, well-stocked suburban home

The house has everything you could possibly need; towels, pool toys, hair dryer, some kitchen staples, shampoo, etc. And it's very clean. The owner is right next door, so she's available if there's anything you need, but not intrusive. Finished basement, garage and sunroom for plenty of space. Pool is also very clean. Great for couples or small families.

A little bit of paradise!

Situated in the quiet area of Barrington and within a short drive to Riverside, Providence, Massachusetts and nearby bays. You will need transport to get around the area. This is a delightful and well maintained mid 50s house that rightly retains some solid period features that add to the charm of the house and gardens. Everything in the house works really well. I rented this wonderful home for my family whilst we prepared for and attended our son’s wedding to our now daughter-in-law from nearby Riverside. The house was perfect for our party of 4/5 and had all the home comforts that you would want including a good internet service and very welcomed air-conditioning and fans to cool the bedrooms and lounge. A large interesting basement area contains a music room and a separate laundry with washer and dryer. The garden overlooks a small pond where wildlife abounds throughout the day. Early morning visits of deer to the pond and evening visits of a family of raccoons made breakfast and evening drinks very entertaining. During the day there is an abundance of birds (cardinals, downy woodpeckers, humming birds, hawks, blue jays etc) and chipmunks, squirrels & foxes. The swimming pool is a great area to cool down in the hot summer and was very well used by the younger members of our family. The hosts, Reina and David live next door and maintain the gardens and pool with charm and consideration to their guest’s privacy. They are very welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be renting this property again if we visit again with family.

Quiet, well-equipped, family-friendly getaway

This is fantastic property that's fit for a family. My wife and I brought my parents along for the stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the grill, patio, backyard birdwatching, swimming in the kid-friendly pool (I invited my sister-in-law and her kids for a dip), and I especially liked browsing the vinyl collection. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and live right next door if you need anything. The location makes it easy to get to Providence, Newport, and other destinations in the area. All around, one of the best stays I've had with VRBO, I highly recommend it for your next trip to Rhode Island.

Awesome Stay

Reina was amazing! She had everything we needed from TP, towels, paper towels, coffee, cereal, milk! She was super easy to work with and lives next door so the check in process was amazing and she checked in with us the first morning! The house is adorable, clean and perfect! The neighborhood was wonderful and so quiet! We loved our stay!

Great experience

We had a great stay at this home. The property is beautiful- lovely tree-lined streets, a beautiful backyard, and a pond that runs at the edge of the yard. While the house inside is a little dated, it is fully equipped, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. It is obviously well-maintained. The owners live next-door and were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to others and we will look forward to returning.

Reina and her husband are so nice. The place is immaculate and comfortable inside and out!

Reina and her husband are very nice. She showed us around to where the bike path was, gave us some delicious food from her garden, showed us how to work everything , let us know that they always there if we needed them! There was directions in the house if we forgot anything…Our family was so happy to be there! We enjoyed every minute of it. There were puzzles, internet, cable, a smart tv. There was everything there that you needed! No matter what you wanted to cook there, she had every casserole dish, every pan, and all the utensils that you needed! She was right, all you needed to bring was your clothes! Everything was perfect! The sheets, the beds, even the pillows were so comfortable and soft! It was like sleeping in heaven! The pool was perfect for our little one as the entire length of the pool, he was able to touch the ground! I can’t say enough good things about the house and Reina and her husband’s hospitality.. Definitely a pleasure to meet them and be there.

Cute house in nice neighborhood

We came into town for my friend’s wedding and the house is right by a walking path so it was very easy to get to/from my friend’s house. The house fit me and my 4 kids comfortably. The pool and yard/gardens are great! The house comes equipped with everything! Very clean and beds are comfortable. Highly recommend!

Our Stay

We rented this property because our daughter had just given birth to her first child and we need a spot nearby. It was only a 25 minute walk and a 4 minute drive. It was much better than staying in a hotel for two weeks. This is a classic ranch house from the time I was child, and it brought back some good memories of growing up. We loved that we could see the activity in the neighborhood from the sitting area in the livingroom. We will return to this spot the next time we need a place for a week or more.

We rented this house for 3 weeks and did not want to leave. Reina was really accommodating and had all the basics (milk, cereal, coffee, etc) ready when we arrived. She lives right next door so anytime we needed something or had a question she was right there to answer! The house was clean and sanitized before we arrived which definitely gave me piece of mind. The house had everything you might need. Beds are comfortable. AC in every room.The property was absolutely beautiful with swing, fire place, grill..( we even did a small photo shoot on the property for my toddler girls, the pictures came out breathtaking. Highly recommend doing while there). The pool is the same depth which was perfect for family with kids, even pool toys! Lots of shade and pool chairs. Both my husband and I worked from there, no issue with internet(high speed. I worked on the patio (with fan), which gave me an ability to view the pool side, while my husband preferred inside with ac. (So there are bunch of different options if you have to work). The neighborhood itself is quiet and friendly. Kids rode bikes and scooters around. Barrington beach is 7 minutes away (it is a bit rocky so take water shoes) but otherwise its good, water was calm and warm. We also went to beach in Newport (Reina has beach chairs and umbrella that you can borrow), Roger Williams park zoo, local playground, and bunch of restaurants (Lobster pot, Wharf,Blount Clam Shack,DeWolf Tavern..), supermarket is 6 minutes away and walmart/target about 15 minutes. We will def be coming back next year.

MOUSE in the House - DECEITFUL Host!!

The pics of the property are touched up. The interior looks in much better shape than reality but we didn’t care since the outdoors made up for it.The garden,pond & pool were nice.Things turned sour when I found a mouse one evening scurrying across the living room.This was not a bunny or chipmunk-doors always closed! I ran away but when I returned,it was there hanging out. I went to bed & shut the door.We had 3 nights left & didn’t know what to do.We worried our boys would see it & panic.We called the host in the morning, she was helpful at 1st,but became defensive when we said we’d like to leave.We agreed on a partial refund(we have texts to prove)We parted on good terms but she later back peddled when she had difficulty checking us out&finding a replacement renter.We tried to help her by calling Vrbo but she threatened saying that if she couldn’t check us out,she wouldn’t give the refund,and sent a nasty message,accusing us of fabricating the entire story since we saw rain in the forecast&wanted to leave.I told her I didn’t want the exterminator in the house because my kids were sleeping.She didn’t believe they would still be asleep at 10 and thought I didn’t want him there because he would see no evidence of droppings. Very insulting-never even crossed my mind for 1sec that she would think that any decent mom would lie like this with her kids there, just to get a refund!We understood it’s not her fault, things happen but she needed to understand our position.We didn’t want to leave,vacation days are precious.We had to get a hotel room, pricier than her house, & no pool.This eliminates her crazy idea of me making up stories to save money.And it still rained where the hotel was located! She wanted us out quick to rent the place. We never got that refund. She went from seemingly nice, to this,once we had a problem.She even tried to keep our security deposit because she had to pay an exterminator.Vrbo tried to track her down for weeks,but she avoided them.She failed to credit us the amount agreed upon and we have clear screen shots of her texts showing we agreed.Beware because the host appears nice until loss of income is an issue regardless of circumstances.Wouldn’t surprise me if she responds with baseless accusations like damage to her house, theft or a threat of a bad review.What happened to us was outrageous & dishonest.Again, the outdoors were nice, but other than that, not cool! If you rent out this place, be careful not to have any issues

Spotless House, Wonderful Owner

We were bringing our daughter for surgery in Providence. The owner had disinfected the house and cleaned it so it was spotless. Given the pandemic, she had stocked it with toilet paper and other goods and even bought some food and supplies for us. Quiet, nice neighborhood with very friendly people. We walked the area every day. The home was well-heated and quite comfortable. The bathroom had a stand-up tub with bench and grab rails - perfect for our daughter. Very happy with our stay here!
