«Great place to stay and set up to bring dogs with also. 2 bedrooms with 2 baths attached to bedrooms. Kitchen set up to be able to cook in easily though cottage close to town of Black Mountain that has great restaurants. Cottage also has washer and dryer which was helpful. Also has hot tub which we used one evening. Fenced in yard for dogs. Very comfortable up to house up to 4 people.»

«The Country Girl Cottage is a peaceful hideaway behind the owner's home, nestled in beautiful, well-tended gardens. The front porch on the cottage is peaceful and wonderful for taking in the view of the gardens, reading, enjoying your morning coffee or your evening wine. The cottage itself is well-equipped and quaintly decorated with antique pieces and also a comfortable sofa for relaxing. The kitchen is small, but perfectly equipped for a weekend stay. «Wonderful house. Beautiful views. Excellent hosts. I traveled with family while I had business in town. Hosts thought of everything. Game systems for the teenagers. Pack n play for my baby. Accessible hosts by text/phone. Short drive to downtown Asheville, but plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I would definitely return. Be mindful if you travel with anyone with mobility concerns...parts of the driveway are steep due to the mountainous landscape. Overall a wonderful property. »

The kitchen is adequately furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels, and the bathroom and shower-tub are totally functional. Plenty of hot water, which can sometimes be an issue with older homes.There are multiple grocery stores a short driving distance from the place, and the downtown is very close.
