Villa Volpaia is located in the Chianti countryside, a short distance from Barberino Val d\'Elsa, spanning 20 acres of land inside which you can also find a lavender field and an olive grove.

The property boasts a lounge area with sofas and armchairs, and a dining area with gazebo, barbecue and table for 12 people, ideal for alfresco meals.

Among the outdoor spaces there is a beautiful infinity pool in Tuscan travertine (10 x 5.6 m, depth 1.60 m), open from April to November. The pool is equipped with sun loungers and parasols, offering spectacular views of the surrounding vineyards and Apennines.

Furthermore, at guests\' disposal a private parking for 4-5 cars, and a bowling green, perfect for the enjoyment of adults and children.

Internal Description

Villa Volpaia is a fully-restored Tuscan farmhouse, built in 1521. Spread over 2 floors, it can accommodate up to 12 people, has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with showers. All bedrooms\' windows are equipped with mosquito screens. Five bedrooms have remote-controlled ceiling fans. 2 baby cots and 3 high chairs are available upon request. Pets are allowed on request.

Inside the villa is characterized by furnishings that skilfully combine modern comforts with echoes of the past, with arched stone walls, terracotta floors, typical Tuscan tiles, and ceilings with wooden beams.

The owner of Villa Volpaia lives in an apartment adjacent to the villa, and she guarantees the utmost privacy and availability in case of need.

Ground floor: A bright dining room with a table for 12 people, and a spacious living room, finely furnished with sofas, armchairs, tv and fireplace welcome you. Following is a lovely, fully equipped kitchen with: stove, microwave, electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster, blender, and coffee machine. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a comfortable laundry room with washing machine and dryer, shared with the owner of the villa.

The floor is completed by a double bedroom (with ensuite bathroom with shower), and a toilet.

First floor: Ascending the stairs you can reach the upper floor, dedicated to the sleeping area with 3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, all equipped with ensuite bathrooms with showers. Each bedroom enjoys wonderful views over the vineyards and the Tuscan countryside.

Also on this floor you will find a cozy living room with sofa and armchairs, ideal for reading a good book or chatting with friends.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity); Internet Wifi; final cleaning.

Excluded from the price: Any extra services on request. Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 500.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.
