The independent barn benefits from an exclusive private garden and a charming pergola with an outdoor lounging and dining facility. The residence is divided into two levels wherein the living room and kitchen are on the ground floor and the bedrooms are on the first floor. 

Plenty of outdoor space with outdoor furniture, modern amenities and a communal pool (dimension: 6 x 12 meters; depth:1.40-2.20 meters) equipped with a paved solarium and heated shower invites guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest. Inside, the timeless beamed-ceiling living room is furnished with ample sitting space and a large flat-screen digital TV.  A flight of stairs right off the entrance takes the guests to the first floor.

The kitchen-diner has a dining arrangement for 6 by the fireplace that can be accessed through the arched wall from the living room. It is equipped with a drip coffee machine, a dishwasher, an oven, a toaster, a fridge and a cooker hob for easy and quick meal preparations.

Sleeping:

Bedroom 1: The tiled en-suite bedroom has a bohemian metal double bed and a wardrobe. 
Bedroom 2: The dreamy room overlooks the garden and is furnished with a double bed and a chest of drawers for storage. 
Bedroom 3: The flexible third room has twin beds, a wooden wardrobe and offers direct access to the garden on the upper level. 

All the bedrooms have air-conditioning. (Charged additionally at a fee € 25 / day)

Larger groups of guests can rent other residences in the complex: La Badia 2 (ID 4253) for 4 guests, La Badia 3 (ID 4254) for up to 4 guests and La Badia 4 (ID 4255) for up to 5 guests.

Location

This house with rustic stone walls is surrounded by about twenty hectares of green land with various relaxation areas. It is one of the five residences in the complex and can be accessed through a one-kilometer dirt road in good condition. Chianti Classico, where the house is located, is known for producing one of the best known and appreciated wines in the world. Wine tasting tours in this region is, therefore, quite popular among tourists.

The spectacular Tuscan panorama surrounding the house with its characteristic hills is full of medieval cities, villages, castles and parish churches. Guests can enjoy the views of beautiful Badia a Passignano, an ancient monastery dating back to the 9th century from the residence. The main attractions of Central Tuscany are also easily accessible. About 12 minutes’ drive from the holiday home is San Casciano, a historically and culturally rich little town full of cafes restaurants, kid-friendly parks, boutique shops, museum and gothic structures.

The house is a perfect base for taking day trips to historical city of Florence (28 km) Sienna (40 km), the city of sublime art and sweet almond biscuits, magical San Gimignano (30km), hill towns of Volterra (60km) and Montepulciano (115km) and the scenic Val d’Orcia (110 km). The nearest bar and restaurant is 5 minutes’ drive from the house. There are a number of golf courses on a short drive. Florence Airport is 40 kilometers and Pisa Airport is 82 kilometers from the house.

The pool will be open from the 30th of March to the 31st of October, availability of the pool depends also on the weather conditions.
