«I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal ...

«Super sentral, very friendly staff,great breakfast, best shower so far. My only complain is to little electric outlets and how loud it is. If someone is in the hallway or outside the hotel it feels like they are in the room with you. Nothing my earplugs didn't fix, but I would bring that. Other than that, everything was great. »

«This property is located is walking distance to the train station, shopping and restaurants. There was no air-conditioning in any of the rooms. However, the weather was splendid, so it was actually not needed. The staff was incredibly kind and generous. There’s also a laundromat right across the street. A little pricey, but after.»

«Well, the view is just stunning. Location is nice, just a very short walk to the center with restaurants and more important the busses to Machu Picchu. The breakfast was a disappointment- I had to look away from that experience as well as the fact that after 6 a.m. there wasn’t hot water in the shower anymore, when rating. The reason for the rating is really the good wide beds, the stunning views and that the hotel is in a quality including lifts. This is basically what you need.»

«The hotel is located close to the senter of Aguas Calientes. It was clean the breakfast was ok. The breakfast starts at 5am, which is good because we needed to get early up for Machu Picchu. We has some problems with lack of hot water in the shower, but they fixed it after 45 mins or so. »
