«The breakfast couldn't be much better. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was right by the bus station to go to Machu Picchu. The markets were very close. It was a 20 minute walk the hot baths and a 30 minute walk to the Manuel Chavez Ballon museum which was very interesting. The only issue was the noise from the street and from 5th floor dining area as our room was on the fourth floor. Recommend ear plugs.»

«The staff were very accommodating. They printed my bus ticket to Machu Picchu free of charge. They have a train pick up and drop off luggage service which was great. The room itself was clean, nice, and spacious. The bathroom was small, but very nice and clean. The only issue was the noise. It never stops. From people talking loud at 2 am to music playing in the early morning. It might just be a Machu Picchu thing. Overall, it was a good stay.»

«The room is well located close to train station and bus stop to reach Machu Picchu. Close to restaurants and bars, without the inconvenience of loud noise until late at night. We really liked the bed, the number of available plugs in the room, the consistent hot water and water pressure when showering (really not granted in Peru). The room was very clean. The stuff very friendly and knowledgeable. The only real improvement would be breakfast, little variety and no real savoury options. It would ...

«Well, the view is just stunning. Location is nice, just a very short walk to the center with restaurants and more important the busses to Machu Picchu. The breakfast was a disappointment- I had to look away from that experience as well as the fact that after 6 a.m. there wasn’t hot water in the shower anymore, when rating. The reason for the rating is really the good wide beds, the stunning views and that the hotel is in a quality including lifts. This is basically what you need.»

«Finding the hotel was difficult but we were lucky to find the Tourism Office and after a quick call a hotel member appeared and escorted us to the hotel. It is a budget hotel although as it was only for one night it acceptable, well that was until we found out they they had allocated our double room to someone else, and she was travelling on her own!!! The room they offered us instead was directly facing the sun and the temperature was well over 40 degrees even with the curtains closed. And the ...

Vilas Insight Hotel Machupicchu

"Super sentral, very friendly staff, great breakfast, best shower so far. My only complain is to little electric outlets and how loud it is. If someone is in the hallway or outside the hotel it feels like they are in the room with you. Nothing my earplugs didn't fix, but I would bring that. Other than that, everything was great. "
