Et meget bra hotell, stille men samtidig sentralt
Bra hotell. Sentral beliggenhet, samtidig et rolig område. Fine rom. Bra senger. Treningsrommet og bassenget er enestående. Frokost trekker ned. Buffet ikke tilgjengelig. Små porsjoner uten mulighet for påfyll. Alt i alt, dette er et meget bra 4 stjerners hotell, ikke et 5 stjerners hotell, som det står oppført som. Stort basseng og treningsfasiliteter er grunnen til at jeg velger dette hotellet igjen.

A gem close to Asok
Very nice stay at a good hotel. The hotel is nice with a big pool and gym. It's has a good location in Soi 16, with easy access to BTS, MRT, Terminal 21 and lots of restaurants and park. There is a frekvent shuttle to the main road, but the walk is also short. Benakitti Park is very close by in you like running. The staff is very nice, and will go out of their way to help you. There are two restaurants that both with good food. Their is also a small supermarked that have the things your need, and a big supermarket just 100 meters down the street if you want to make your own food etc. The washing machine had a good dryer, and the kitchen was quite well equiped. Very nice bathroom, and the bed was perfect. Very open and light rooms that feel spacious. I had two stays at Shama on this trip, and I think I have found my new home when in Bangkok.

Byttet hotell
Hadde bestilt suite, den var ikke klar da vil om kl 15:30. Fikk tidelt et midlertidig rom. Der fant vi hår på badet.. når vi fikk tidleg suite stinket det røyk på rommet og vi måtte bytte rom IGJeN! Vi fikk ikke noe tilbud om noe for å godtgjøre alt styret vi gikk igjennom. Endte med t vi booket et hotell sent på kvelden og sjekket ut samme dag!

The hotel has fantastic views over the park, which makes a nice change in Bangkok. Very convenient for shopping etc. Excellent swimming pool and gym. Door staff very helpful at booking taxis etc.

The room upgrade was the best experience we have had from the hotel. The night receptionist weren’t that friendly but the receptionist that checked us out was being professional and lovely. Love the shuttle bus service from the friendly gentleman, he could recognise the customers. Thank you

We checked in at 10.30 pm after long day from travelling. Staff weren’t prepared, they didn’t check on our booking details that we booked through Expedia VIP eligible room upgrade and that didn’t get offered. They gave us room in building B, which is an old building. The room was damp and the aircon wasn’t cool. We had to ask them to give us a new room and I had to mention my Gold VIP upgrade and that’s when they checked my booking details. The reception managers weren’t that friendly but still resolved the issues that we had including Expedia Perks on drinks. We love the shuttle bus service, picking up and dropping off otherwise this wouldn’t be a good trip at all as it’s quite a distance to walk on a busy and narrow road to BTS. The house keeper is amazing.

Vip upgrade was nice upon check in. Major flaw on this trip was TV was not working during my 4 days stay. Apparently the hotel switched the service provider for television channels. During my 6 nights stay, TV was on and off for the entire time. English cable channels (news, and sports) were not working at all. I had engineer come to my room to try to fix the issue, but the next morning the problem persisted. After 3 days of going back and forth, I just gave up, and decided not to watch TV altogether. Another issue was the washing machine. Door got stuck, and I couldn't take our the laundry. Engineer came in to forcefully open by taking out the front door... All taking about an hour to take out the door and left the parts to fix next day.... Front office staff were very nice and friendly as well as the concierge. Hotel itself is becoming old with dirty carpets, and stains on sofa. Area around the hotel is pretty average. 3 massage places to relax just in front of hotel, 24 hour food mart just as short walk from the hotel. Lawsons just downstairs, and coffee club. If they just could fix the cable TV reception, few other hardware such as the carpet and sofa, I would have rated the hotel much higher.

Nice location, beautiful rooms.
Everyone was wonderful. The coffee shop was the best. Their foot was outstanding. The little sandwhich shop off the lobby was great. The hotel restaurant was horrible. waited 45 mins for a sandwhich and when we asked about it they had not even started. We were only 2 people and their were 4 people total in the placed. The pool needs easier access. Never did find the hot tub. People were great.

予約した部屋が満室とのことで、無料でアップグレードして頂きました。BTSアソーク、MRTクイーンシルキットの両方にシャトルが出るので便利です。アソーク駅からも歩けます。ジムでウエイト、プールで泳いでから遊びに行っていました。 連泊しましたが、1度だけタオルの補充が不十分な日があったので、星4つにしました。キッチンも洗濯機も部屋に付いていますので、利用しました。次回も利用します。

The hotel is very nice and close to shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff was not friendly. The food selections at the buffet (breakfast) was very limited. The food was not worth the money that we prepaid for. I do not recommend eating breakfast there.

Solid choice close to Benjakitti park
The hotel is a bit dated but offers a lot of space. My room had a washing machine with dryer function, full kitchen, and a seating area. It is close to Benjakitti park and has many small shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very good. Good deal for the money. The only downside was that there was heavy noise from a garage remodel. My first room should have never been assigned. The walls were shaking from the drilling. I asked to be moved. It took an hour, and room was quiet.

Excellent staff and location. Provides shuttle service to Ashok BTS station on a need basis. From there one can take BTS or MRT to everywhere in the city. Has local eateries around the hotel as well as 24 hour Foodland for groceries as well as coffee shop for quick food. Also have 3 massage parlors just in front of the hotel. Hotel has great gym, sauna, and decent swimming pool to relax. From my experience, this hotel has everything you would want from a Bankgok hotel; great location, great staff, and clean rooms. For Expedia VIP members, they also recognize your status by giving you an upgrade room upon check in. I am a picky traveler, and I would return back to Shama Lakerview.

Loved our 4 nights here, staff are wonderful, the facilities are great, and it’s close to the Sky Train. Our room had a kitchen, laundry and separate lounge area. Awesome views from the 29th floor! Hotel has a gym, pool, restaurant, 7-11 and Coffee Club downstairs. The concierge team do a good job of looking after you too. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Bangkok.
