Et av byens beste!
Bodde på So Sofitel under Songkran og da er det virkelig stedet å være! Pool party’et på hotellet var fantastisk bra og godt arrangert. Bodde i Studio club room som er veldig romslig og med fin utsikt. Club loungen var også bra med godt utvalg av snacks og drikke gjennom dagen. Kommer gjerne tilbake!

Veldig fin opplevelse på hotellet. Vi ble godt mottatt ved innsjekk på en onsdag og kjæresten min fylte 40 år på lørdagen. Flere som jobbet på hotellet husket det og sa gratulerer til han, så det var imponerende. Pluss i boka :) Bassenget var fint, minus for at bygningen skygget for solen på den tiden vi reiste. Ikke så mye rundt lokal området bortsett fra parken. Men metro i nærheten eller enkelt med taxi rundt i bkk

My best hotel experience
Modern and welldesigned hotel. Excellent service, spacoius Roms, comfortable beds, rooftop chillout area and pool with fantastic view. I Will definately come back.

Flott og lukseriøst
Hadde booket en "So Studio Club" leilighet og den flotte servicen startet allerede ved henting på flyplassen. Vi ble hentet i en BMW 5-Serie (litt dyr transfer, men verdt opplevelsen) og fikk flere forfriskninger inkludert sjokolade i bilen. Ved ankomst til hotellet ble vi som Club gjester ført rett opp i Club Lounge i 25 etasje hvor vi fikk en drink mens vi ventet på at check-in skulle bli klart. Rommet var helt fantastisk, levde virkelig opp til forventingene. Egen Mac-mini som underholdningsentral, med mulighet til Air-play fra iPhone. Høytalere i taket på badet til og med. Vi hadde "Metal" tema på rommet og det var stilrent og lukseriøst. Frokosten var veldig bra både buffeten på Red Oven og À la carte på Club lounge med fantastisk utsikt over byen. Infinity pool i 10 etasje med utsikt utover et flott parkområde. Alt i alt en meget flott opplevelse og man føler seg meget godt tatt vare på ved dette hotellet. Kan absolutt anbefales som en lukseriøs avslutning på en Thailands ferie.

Stayed here 6 years ago when it was Sofitel and have noticed the quality has gone down. Hotel is in need of an update swimming pool glass etc and general areas rundown it’s ok for a base but nothing special won’t be staying again.

Very very nice. 30 mins from the airport but in the heart of the city. 3 room choices. Restaurants, coffee shops, rooftop bars and pool located on property. Absolutely beautiful. Housekeeping and staff very attentive and nice. This location is beyond convenient and beautiful

Amazing Lumpini Park Views!!!
All in all I am giving this 5-stars. I think it's a 5-star worthy hotel, and most people will LOVE it! For me... it could be better and here's why: Hallways near the floor boards are covered in dust. Wall paper and grouting inside the rooms have seen better days. The staff is a bit pretentious. The the topping on the cake is the horrible Cassette bar on the top floor. The drinks there are over priced and poor quality. Also the overall layout of the hotel is confusing. You have to take an elevator, to walk further, to take another elevator, etc. I had to give people directions how to get places inside the hotel because people kept getting lost. If this was a "budget" hotel, I wouldn't think twice about these things. However I would expect everything to be 10/10 for a Sofitel branded hotel. For the good side: Amazing views of Lumpini Park!!! Coffee Pod maker provided. Excellent Wifi for working with a great desk area. Two different street access entrances for Grab or Uber to pick you up and/or leave. The restaurant a-la-carte menu was fab for lunch! Welcome Drink was tasty. There was a rooftop bar called Hi-So which did actually have amazing drinks, cheaper than that other place. Amazing coffee shop downstairs with trained baristas and loads of drinks options. The chocolate cafe had excellent croissants and sandwiches for breakfast. So I think all-in-all I wouldn't stay here again. But I think for a young person who wants to feel cool and hip, this is the sorta place for them.
