I ordered hotel without breakfast, but decided to buy breakfast the first day. The breakfast buffet cost about 610 baht pr person. I was disappointed. The breakfast was not very good. You have a choice between rice, noodles or toast. They have some sausages and egg, but not very good. There was fruit, but I have never tasted less good fruit in Thailand. This hotel has many Chinese guests, which may explain the poor quality of the breakfast buffet. If it was good, they would probably run out off food in five minutes. When entering the breakfast restaurant, I signed up with name and room number. When leaving I was followed by a waiter out into the lobby. He wanted me to pay in cash, which I did. Upon checking out, I was told to pay for the breakfast once again, I refused and after much checking, the people at the hotel believed me and I didn’t have to pay.
A word of advice is to keep all receipts for food, laundry etc., because the staff doesn’t seem to have a clue.
The staff is ok, but be advised that they say “yes”, even when they don’t understand at all what you want. Be also observant when ordering room service, as they sometime come with less or different food than ordered.
The interior of the hotel is ok, but a little dated and worn. The room (“superior”)was ok, but worn and dated.
The swimming pool area is great! Clean and very nice. I was mostly alone there! Very good!
The hotel is ok if you need to be in this part of Bangkok.
