«The room itself was spacious and clean. The pub was great loads of drink selection and the staff were all friendly and super helpful. Our only negative was weather related. The fan in the room didn't help with the heat at all. We had to keep the window open to try and cool the room. «Simple room with comfortable bed, no air conditioning but our nights cooled down. The rooms are above a pub that often stayed busy till @ 11pm. For us, the noise never bothered us. Wasn't too fond of the smokers, but we delt with it. It was wonderful to have a pub below, we could wander down in the evening for a nightcap, play some cards, or grab a dessert. «We booked here for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay. Finch Cottage is great - there is so much thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property. "It's an old hotell, so you get what you pay for. Doors difficult to open. The gym was closed due to some maskine was broken. It's very difficult to get there with no car. Bus stop nearby, but difficult to walk from busstop to the hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful."

"Et fint opphold. Rommet var klart 3 timer før innsjekk, så det var supert! Stort dobbeltrom med badekar i bygget på baksiden. Såpene luktet veldig godt! Gode fasiliteter på rommet. "It seems clean enough, and the staff was polite and professional. It feels like an old hotel the carpet in my room looked dirty and a part of it was missing, the worst however are the elevators/lifts they are 19 years old and you can tell the middle one is the worst it sounds like it scrapes against the sides and it jolts noticeably i felt mildly unsafe riding it.otherwise great place with pleasant staff."
