«We arrived early and they allowed us to check in even though we didn’t pre-book it paid the early check in fee on the day. Room was very clean and bed was really comfortable staff were extremely polite and helpful will definitely stay again. »

«The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. Also the mattress was too firm for us.»

«Brukte hotellet som utgangspunkt for turer i Peak District, da beliggenheten er svært sentral for dette formålet. Var meget fornøyd ved besøk på hotellet for ett år siden - denne gangen holdt ikke maten samme kvalitet som sist. Rommet var relativt trangt og lå over inngangspartiet, noe som betød mye ubehagelig sigarettrøyk fra andre gjester! Håper å komme tilbake, men vil da be om å få slippe rom nr. 2.»

«This is a pub with 12 rooms behind it in another building. A courtyard separates them. My room was of modest size and very clean. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. «We stayed the this property for one night and was not disappointed. From the minute we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our gorgeous room for the night. «The pub staff were very welcoming,the breakfasts were generous portions and very well cooked.we ate on both evenings and again the meals were very good. The owner who I think was called Laura was extremely helpful with local knowledge about the walking routes that are available and she even let us borrow a map. The area is beautiful and a walkers paradise. We will return to this Inn.»

«Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too.»

«Very nice cottage just minutes from pedestrian entrance to chatsworth house. Unfortunately our 2 dogs arent used to people outside walking by and people walk by from 5am which meant we got a barking symphony very regularly! The dogs loved the park and the peaks. Pubs and places to eat close by. Everything we needed in cottage and a bottle of preseco waiting which is a nice touch»
