Exceptional place to stay
The apartment was very very clean , a lot of windows in all rooms with fantastic view of the country ,fantastic. We have the nice garden all for us with total privacy. Elaine is very helpful and kind. Middleton is a small village with old cottages and beautiful gardens. We loved it. A lot of walkings from the house, no need of the car if you want to walk around, but for shopping we must go to Bakewell , 6 miles away. Fantastic holidays in a fantastic place

Wonderful Garden Apartment
I loved staying here. The owner was very welcoming. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed. I loved being able to have a nice, private garden space to enjoy being outside. I also appreciated the little covered seating area when it rained. The location was great. I loved being near a farm and being able to safely (there was a sidewalk) walk into the town. The overall location was perfect for my travels in the area.

Perfection
We loved this apartment. It is located perfectly, near the center of the Peak District, giving easy access to many key destinations. The bedroom was large and comfortable, the lounge spacious and cozy, and the kitchen a great size and nicely appointed. The bathroom was also very nice. Lots of windows made it feel open and roomy, and provided great views. Off-street parking is provided and we sat and read in the lovely garden. The only hiccup for us was no laundry during a longer stay. The owners were wonderful and we can't say enough about our experience. Highly recommended.

Fantastic accommodation and location
We spent 20 nights here and loved it. Super comfortable with pretty much everything you could need. Quiet, relaxing location with a lovely patio area. We would love to stay again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away and relax.

Tranquil little apartment with great access to Derbyshire walks
I had such a lovely restful stay at this little apartment. A super place to escape to, do some writing and big walks. The apartment is well equipped with lovely views across the garden and nearby countryside. I also really appreciated that the hosts were happy for me to use the garden. What a gem of a place! Hope to be back.

A good location
A wonderful clean property just right for exploring the countryside, a haven for walkers, unfortunately we cannot walk far but the property was in a very good location giving us all the places we wanted to visit. There is also a lovely garden at the property we we could sit in and relax, was lovely to sit there with a book and enjoy a glass of wine

Lovely stay in lovely area
So spacious for two in a beautiful area. We stayed three nights for a birthday celebration. We wished we could have stayed much longer. A great getaway in very private self contained holiday home. Tad was on hand if we needed but he totally respects your privacy...5 stars - Thank you

Comfortable and relaxing stay.
We really enjoyed our 5-night stay in this very comfortable apartment, which is raised up above a double-garage in what appears to be a converted barn. This results in magnificent views over the countryside in all directions from this apartment, which is well-equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering - and the twin beds are super-comfy! Access to the premises was easy - the owners live in the next-door bungalow - and the apartment is situated just outside the village of Youlgrave, which has several excellent pubs, and "The Village Shop' is a delightful surprise, stocking high-end deli products, delicious ice-cream etc. alongside essentials. Must also mention the local "Peak Feast" bakery, from which pre-cooked meals can be bought - not forgetting their excellent "Homity Pies". Highly recommended - we hope to return before too long.

Fantastic quiet location surrounded by stunning countryside. Plenty of things to do in surrounding areas. Perfect for riverside stroll into beautiful village of Youlgreave, 40 minutes walk,with 3 pubs. A pizza van on Tuesdays. Pub food excellent in the Bulls head. Cafe open 7 days a week and local shop for necessities and post office.

Peaceful retreat
Lovely property in a very quiet location. Everything you need in the property for a comfortable stay. Smart TV, radios, WiFi and fully equipped kitchen. It is remote so ideal if you want peace and quiet. 1.5 hours walk from Bakewell. We would definitely go back!

Lovely apartment, spotlessly clean, really nice quite village and only a sort walk/ride to next village with 3 lovely pubs, bakers and a shop. Lovely couple, nice treat of biscuits, the apartment had everything you needed, very well thought out , for example kitchen roll cling fill foil, biscuits tea coffee sugar, Netflix.. loved our stay..

The flat was absolutely spotless and so well equipped. There was everything you could possibly need and more. The only problem for older people such as us was the steep flight of stairs up to the flat. Don’t let this put you off though because everything else was superb.
