«Property was spectacular, the view was impressive. Everything you need in a home away from home, the area is filled with nature! Many hikes and exploring then back to the house to relax and take in the awesome view. Short ride to Blackwater Falls and Canaan Valley state parks. Very comfortable accommodations, we travel with our pups at least 2-3 times a year somewhere different and always stay at a VRBO home, this home was o e of the very best!»

«We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. »
