«We were scheduled to stay for a week but only stayed two nights. We stayed in the lodge. While walking down the concrete stairs, I stepped down and my ankle rolled. It chipped a bone in my ankle. I was looking down while stepping down and I was expecting to put my foot on concrete, not the grass. The concrete was broken up a bit. The concrete stairs were better than the railroad tie stairs at the other end of the lodge. The staff did bring me a large bag of ice and baggies to ice my very swollen ...

«The cottage is on the main road in town so street noise and noise from the DQ next door are constant. This also means window shades had to be closed for any privacy. Microwave was very dirty, did not appear to have been cleaned in a while. No real utensils or supplies in kitchenette. Otherwise cleanliness was good. Communication with host was thorough. «Walking in took my breath away. We could see lake from both sides of the kitchen living area. The suite we had was great for a couple but we could have added a couple kids. I wish we would have had time to use all of the amenities. We didn't get to use the fire pit or the canoe/kayaks but we did walk down to the point a few times; once with a picnic lunch and sat and read books while watching nature.
