Fint hotel med mange muligheter
Et veldig fint hotell med veldig venlig betjening. Veldig fine og rene rom, Nydelig bad.Mulighet for trening i trenings studio inkludert i prisen og svømmebasseng. ligger veldig nær alle severdigheter. Hotelet ordnet med tuktuk til 200bath pr time så vi fikk sett mye på kort tid.Det ligger et kjøpesenter like ved hotellet. En av de beste hoteller jeg har bodd på.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Zufahrt zur Autobahn, wir hatten jedoch einige Mühe die Zufahrt zum Hotel zu finden. Von den Sehenswürdigkeiten in Ayutthaya ist das Hotel ca. 5 km entfernt. Unser Appartment war gross und gut eingerichtet, die Betten waren aber hart, und die Klimaanlage liess sich nicht wirklich steuern. Der Pool und Whirlpool auf dem Dach sind ein Highlight des Hotel, von oben hat man auch eine gute Aussicht. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, die Qualität aber nicht ganz top. Das Verhältnis Preis-Leistung ist aber sehr gut.

Worse Kantary Hotel Experience
I have been to Kantary Hotels for a few branches but never experienced such a poor service like this one. There was some problem with the aircond which we did inform early evening. The guys came and told us they fixed the aircond but it wasn't. Later the night the aircond didn't function as it was supposed to. They simply asked us (pregnant women and 2-1/2 year-old kid) to move to the new room in the middle of the night without sympathy! this hurt me the most. They could have taken action earlier or checked prior to our stay.

Frühstück war eine Zumutung. Sauberkeit und Service beim Frühstück ebenfalls eine Zumutung. Waren im 15. Stock und noch immer war der Strassenlärm die ganze Nacht zu hören. Im Zugehörigen Kaffee war ein Bier erst ab 17h00 zu bekommen. Preis / Leistung Stimmt hier bei weitem nicht. Keine 4 Sterne würdig.

Everything was excellent except: The smell of sewage in some areas around the pool on the top floor of the hotel is probably from the flower pots. The amount of detergents in the water was a little too big - I couldn't swim without binoculars. The noise from the street and the air conditioner at night was unlikely and hindered us sleeping more for me than the children. Hotel staff have no in-depth knowledge or contribute to the success of the trip in the old city of Ayutthaya. For example, the only way to take a trip to Ayutthaya is in Tok Tuk. 150 baht one direction. A taxi driver who brought me to the hotel offered to take me a whole trip around the city for 500-400 baht all day. The hotel staff had no idea where the boat tours organized around Ayutthaya came from. So we had to rent a private boat for an hour and a little at 800 baht without a guide who knows English.

This is a worn out, unkempt and unclean property on the side of a busy highway. I blame myself for not looking at the surrounding area closer when I booked, but there is absolutely nothing walkable nearby as it sits in a very industrial area. Our room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in what looked like a very long time, and the balcony and the window ledges (albeit there would be no view to speak of anyway) was so thick with bird feces, to the point where we wouldn't have even considered opening the doors. For a hotel of only 10 years old, it is obvious that upkeep is not high on the list of priorities for the owner as it appears much, much older. This was definitely the low point of our two week vacation where we stayed in 7 different hotels - so we have lots to compare it to.

Excellent quality - well appointed apartment
A well appointed and looked after serviced apartment,15mn drive from the train station and the heritage site. So you need to take a tuk tuk to get there at a flat rate of 150 baht each way. No point in bargaining as it is a flat rate. The area is quite industrial / business but there is a very nice massage place 50 metres down the road and a few places to eat scattered about as well as a Tesco supermarket. In the apartment you have fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, oven and a washing machine handy when like me you don't like travelling with dirty clothes. No dishwasher but the cleaner will do the washing up for you. (Nice one when on holiday). Wifi is good. As ever we never bother watching TV when on hols so no comment here. We booked a one bedroom apartment - it was the only one available on hotels.com but we got a free upgrade to a two bedroom apartment. There is a gym on site and a lovely roof top pool and jacuzzi. The reception staff was a bit confused as we booked for 3 people but the booking mentioned breakfast for 2 people only which did not make sense. Anyway this was sorted straight away by reception. This is a very comfy place to stay in Ayutthaya if you don't mind not being in the heart centre but as transport cost is okay we were happy to stay there. Staff are very helpful, they printed our new flight boarding pass as our flight to Krabi had been cancelled by Nokair.

Nice serviced apartment in Ayutthaya
This is an upscale serviced apartment which comes with lot of amenities and space. Room is quite comfort. Breakfast is on par but is one of the best in Ayutthaya

I stayed at 3 different hotels during my visit the Ayutthaya and the Kantary was my favorite followed by the Sala Hotel and then the Classic Kameo. I will stay at the Kantary next time I come back, everything was 5 stars +.
