«This was our first time visiting Avila Beach and I'm so glad I chose Avila La Fonda. The location was perfect. The room was comfy. The treats in the room, the food served at various times, and of course the amazing pie, really added to our experience! The pantry was an awesome feature too! «Great location to beach, wind protected pool and Jacuzzi, great free breakfast, well designed and functional room and bathroom. Decent balcony with chairs and small table.
The second floor view of the ocean is much better and for those thinking the first floor has better access to the pool, they have large walled flower beds in front of the patio with signs don't walk through.»

«The was a quaint (267 sq ft) unit within a block of the beach. It was quiet, comfortable, and the fire pit was nice in the cool mornings and evenings.
I booked through Expedia, not VRBO, and had disconnects with the host. I attempted to cancel my reservation on two occasions outside of the 2-week, non-refundable period listed on Expedia (and my receipt). Both requests were met with resistance so I stayed the course and kept my reservation.
